My only gripe with this game is the fact that your main weapon is some futuristic looking M4. They got every other iconic Colonial Marine gun in here except the most iconic of them all, The Legendary M41A Pulse Rifle!!!
The reason the marines in this game use M4s instead of the legendary M41A pulse rifle is probably because they are a specialized unit that is trained to use the M4 as their main weapon instead of the M41A pulse rifle

which one? because honestly it looks like its based on the old Kenner toy line from the early 90s with the heavily exaggerated alien variants being produced. Even the main boss the flying alien queen was one of their figures though the design was slightly different (but both being chiefly Queens and not just a flying alien is a fun coincidence). None of the Dark Horse or marvel comic lines touched on anything as excessive. The closest plot detail is the alien outbreak on earth which occurs in Aliens Outbreak, but there is nothing in this that has anything in common with the outbreak in that series. It takes a lot more then having an alien outbreak on earth to say something is based on something else. By that logic you could have said it was based on the first unreleased script for alien 3 which was also about an outbreak of aliens on earth.

So the winged facehuggers are real thing and the buff xenomorph that shoots spikes those are accurate in the comics and I know there's a winged Xenomorph and I wish I could see more in video games

If you think about it then that's a good thing, if the main character got inside then the xeno queen would've destroyed the ark. Then again the marines could've held out a bit longer since it looked like the main character was holding the queen off AND a bunch of xenomorphs off very well.
Don't be so quick to give up after all you wouldn't be fighting alone and some of your brothers in arms would be more skilled with their weapons than you are and could rely on them to provide you with covering fire

Eventually with practice and a lot of money and time (those were good times) i could finish every gallery shooter game at the arcades with one token, some of then even dual gun, like house of the dead series, time crisis series, etc but ninja assault was the bane of my existence, a permanent failure on my record, it´s not like the game was totally cheap, more like the enemies where very veryyyyyy tanky, it had a lot "in your face" moments (way too many), so your finger fire rate had to be top notch, you had to be able to shoot that pistol like it was a fully automatic weapon, plus to make it even more harder the socom/pistol was HEAVY like really heavy and it had a pretty strong recoil and i mean physical recoil (i can´t remember other game of this kind that had this feature), the weight drain the strengh from your arms over time, the recoil made quite difficult steady and continous aim at enemies weak points. But i totally loved holding these ones, they gave the illusion of holding a powerful gun in your hands.

my biggest regrets would be never being able to get good endings with high stakes games like this before all arcades are completely out-moded. Fortunately, this Game isn't on my regret list.
You can play these games now in PC. Either thru emulation or, being a lot of these games nowadays are running on PC based arcade hardware, there are "modifications" (Tekno*koff* Parrot*koff*) of these games that allow them to run on modern PC's.

Far too many game devs fail to realise the potential for old school on-rails shooters and VR. They're too preoccupied with trying to force the hardware to handle a normal FPS and address all the complications with movement and nausea. Not to mention that having complete control over where the player is looking would allow for some impressive performance optimisation as you don't need to always create and render a full environment.
Growing up at the tail end of the arcade era sucked but at least I was able to experience a little something and those experiences were my childhood classics!

It would be nice if they could make all the xenomorph variants canon for the universe. One thing I've noticed is, whenever you use the turret gun on the armored personnel carrier, it seems to do less damage then the handheld weapons you use, even though it uses more powerful ammunition, and there are two guns in play at once, as it takes longer to kill even standard xenomorphs with the thing.
Gosh i just beat this in an arcade. holding the heavy vibrating gun sure made it intense as i frantically shoot the creatures charging me. really immersive. the room was boiling too, got ab 92k score, and was sweating, but the job was done. good game, good experience. W

My personal head canon is that a yautia clan (predators) saw the whole thing go down and picked up the PC so they can go on hunting xenomorphs like the damn doomslayer, or maybe go after the ark while leaving pc with the usual artifact that they traditionally do when they're deemed worthy or something similar.

Movie ends with success, but shows a new alien mutated cause of the virus Third movie is about the fight against the Virus-Aliens and the last effort to rescue what is left, evacuating people and giving up earth
I can tell it's made by raw thrills and by the same team that made Terminator salvation because of the camera angles and the fact that the graphics look like an early Xbox 360 title. 😂

I see "FREEPLAY" on the botton off the screen and tought: "Ho god, it´s gonna be one of those playthrough where they die and use continues every minute, specially with the bosses and miss everything shooting all over the place". But to my surprise it was not, you show skill and knowledge in the game and die very few times. It was quite enjoyable to look. Also, you got robed by that facehugger at 7:39 it took around 70% of your health bar, why is that? One of those gallery shooter arcade games cheap mechanics where if you are too good then enemies recieve an attack boost? Or it´s random or what? Other facehuggers did little damage, but THAT ONE was a champion. Flying enemies are cheap too, any other enemy has to be "in your face" to deal damage, but flying aliens just melee you like they have psychic powers.

I can tell it's made by raw thrills and by the same team that made Terminator salvation because of the camera angles and the fact that the graphics look like an early Xbox 360 title. 😂

This should been a aliens movie or atleast there should be a aliens movie where it’s all on earth… all the possibilities of showing so many xenomorphs but then again seems Hollywood well Disney isn’t good so they would make it horrible.
Not necessarily. Disney has Hulu to do the rates R stuff like the movie "prey" and that was a dam good predator movie.

I see "FREEPLAY" on the botton off the screen and tought: "Ho god, it´s gonna be one of those playthrough where they die and use continues every minute, specially with the bosses and miss everything shooting all over the place". But to my surprise it was not, you show skill and knowledge in the game and die very few times. It was quite enjoyable to look. Also, you got robed by that facehugger at 7:39 it took around 70% of your health bar, why is that? One of those gallery shooter arcade games cheap mechanics where if you are too good then enemies recieve an attack boost? Or it´s random or what? Other facehuggers did little damage, but THAT ONE was a champion. Flying enemies are cheap too, any other enemy has to be "in your face" to deal damage, but flying aliens just melee you like they have psychic powers.
