What’s the movie Beverly Hills Cops II about?
The heat's back on! And Eddie Murphy is cool as ever in this sizzling, smash-hit sequel to Beverly Hills Cop. Axel Foley (Murphy) is back-back where he doesn't belong! He's going "deep, deep, deep undercover" into the chic wilds of Southern California, unleashing his arsenal of blazing gunfire and rapid-fire gags against a gang of international munitions smugglers. Back, too, are Judge Reinhold and John Ashton as Murphy's crime-busting sidekicks. And Top Gun's director Tony Scott keeps the pace fast, furious and funny.
This time, Axel Foley returns after Captain Bogomil was almost assassinated during a shooting and must now investigate a series of robberies they like to call the “Alphabet Crimes”.

the chemistry between rosewood and taggart is amazing.
Would have made a great spin off movie with those two.
Billy's transformation between BHC1 and BHC2 from Timid to Rambo is hilarious.
He finally slept with Linda.
He didn't want to be outgunned again.

“Hey! You like rap music?” Dead ☠️ 😂😂😂
Say “Ow!” 🤣
Yo baby, yo baby, yo! 😁
Cops being astounded at the "firepower" of a handful of pump action shotguns. Truly this was a different age altogether from the one in which we live today.
Its that same age for most countries, just not the USA.
A 12 gauge is a lot of firepower
Yes, I believe that is called time. For example, it's a different age I am in, responding to your comment and the age when you posted it.
@Thor Odin son Every cop around here has a shot gun in their cruiser and usually the Sgts have an Ar15 so I have no idea what you a talking about. get educated next time before you open your empty suck
Tbf North Hollywood shootout was over a decade after this movie when LAPD would start arming up like it was the military.
MY FAVOURITE SCENE!!! Omg that rap scene has ALWAYS cracked me up!!! Rap Coalition of America!!!!😂😂😂😂
RCA? as in the TV/ VCR makers? 😂
Making him say "ow" being being clubbed in the back of the head is legendary.
Billy just grabs a mortar and puts it in his pocket after Taggart asks sarcastically, "You don't have one of these, do you?!"
Sgt Taggart: Jesus Christ Billy we gotta talk!
"You can never have too much firepower."

He's obviously Tackleberry's long lost son

No no no long lost brothers, twins, separated at birth.
Definitely has the personality of Tackleberry with all his Guns👌🤣🤣🤣
Dude wtf is this comment lol
@@PatternLand You poor poor soul. Lol. I HIGHLY recommend you check out the Police Academy movies.
Neil took his fashion game to a whole new level and left the sweaters behind.
'Rap Coalition of America' they were never given the respect they deserved.
I love that Billy is not all there in this movie.
It's true. You can never have enough firepower!!!
You need balls too. Just ask the Uvalde police.
Lol at the way Taggart says, "What are you... nuts?" 0:14 and 2:14
"All the idea's you've had, this is the worst." I've lost track of how many times I've used that line towards others over the years. Have even said that to myself at times.
Damn. I remember being really surprised to see Billy’s hidden side
Never underestimate Billy

So glad that Billy finally got an RPG round.
lol, it's a LAW..
Actually, the round he stuck in his pocket was a mortar round. Probably illumination.
My fave Beverly Hills Cop movie. :)
Soundtrack was tight
Thank you Eddy Murphy!!!! Jason bishop.
‘Let’s do a rap together’ ahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I love this movie to much I can't stop laughing airy time see Beverly hills cop two
So, after graduating from Ridgemont High Billy went through several name changes and joined the army where he is stationed in West Germany guarding a heavily armed recreational vehicle eventually joining the Beverly Hills PD? When did he cheat his way through college only to become CEO of a large MNC?
As I understand, movie makers have advisors on staff to make sure any and all "accessories" used by the actors are 1) correct for the time period of the film, 1) that they are correctly used in the way they were designed. Case in point - Eddie Murphy is holding a High Point semi-automatic single action pistol. This pistol has a single action/double trigger action, meaning, in order fire the chambered round the hammer must be "cocked" followed by the the remaining shot fired "double action"(slide action cocks every shot there after). In this and other scenes you will notice the hammer is not "cocked"; meaning the gun cannot be fired without the hammer first being manually cocked. I have seen this same technical error in other movies and TV series, e.g., when Gibbs of NCIS began carrying his fathers Colt 1911 SA/DA action semi-auto pistol. Enough said. BTW - I completely enjoyed all Beverly Hills Cops movies. Trivia from a fan.
Gee, I really hope someone got fired for that blunder!
Get ready Pt 4 is coming out late 2023! And yes Billy and Sarge is gonna be in it
Correction: Summer 2024
It's Dirty Rosewood.
I don’t think the kids (no disrespect intended) know what it is like to have date movies like this. Studios used to put out movies just to get a$$’s in the seats and people buying popcorn. BHC-2 came out in 1987 Beverly Hills Cop II was probably the most successful mediocre picture in history," Murphy said. "It made $250 million worldwide, and it was a half-assed movie.
I've read that quote before, always wondered which part of this film was meant to be half-assed. It's got loads of great jokes and action sequences.
These movies are classics. My favorite one is this one, actually. The third wasn’t too bad but it was still a letdown compared to the first two. Hopefully the fourth will be good.
Taggert handing Billy the shell sarcastically, Billy actually putting it into his coat and Taggert shaking his head in disbelieve.
"Yo baby yo baby yo!!!"
I'm surprised UA-cam doesn't change the actors to holding bananas instead of guns
I’ve never heard anyone complain about having to much firepower in a fight.
1:42, hey billy, you don't have one of these do you? i laughed so hard... i had a flash back to being inside an ASP with weapons nobody knew what they were and sgt king looks over at me and picks up a detonator and says, since when were these stored together, and the capt. says, they are coming back soon and they want it easy to grab. SSG lewis looks at me and tosses me a fuse for AAA and says, here you don't have one of these.
oh that took me back..
thank you for such fun writing.
why why could we not just go back to the 80s worlds gone mad
AIDS, massive unemployment, Cold War on its height, NO Future. Yeah I was 18 when this movie came out, I remember. No thanks
This movie turned into a shootout you’d see in GTA.

Yo baby yo baby yo one heck of a pick up line. 😮😅😂

Wheres the Bazooka scene?
that rap was quite good, thats like 1 year material for mumble rappers lol
Meh, I'd say that's being generous
Judge Reinhold went Clint Eastwood here.
Of course the RPG round doesn't fit in the LAW.
Taggart is the Michael Jordan of nagging
😂😂😂do u like rap music😆😆😆 why you ain’t smiling🤣😂smh that lions jacket Fresh to Death.
Yea I'm more of a Billy except I would just bring shotguns, I'd bring assault rifles and battle rifles with thousands of rounds of ammo. "When you need it and don't have it, you sing a different tune"- Burt Gummer, Tremors 2
Later that movie:
"I am completely out of ammo. That's never happened before."
Yo, baby, yo, baby, yo!
a controlled cop should never be outgunned by a crook but when they prove unreliable something should be done to reign them in
I'm sure the cigarette guy was one of the goons in bad boys who chases marcus when he's escaping with the girl
Yes, he is. Actor’s name is Vic Manni

Rap music wasn't all that big in the 80s, I'm an 80s kid and didn't start listening to rap until the early 90s
MC Hammer doesn't get the credit he deserves. He took it world-wide! That's how a lot of people around the world found out about rap, and that opened the door for the proliferation of rap/hip-hop/RnB around the world.
