I'm sorry you got a shark. I have gone through several sharks and several dysons I will not waste my money on either one of them ever again. The dysons the cords get hot on the main unit or the nozzle motors burn out. Same thing with the sharks the nozzle motor that rotates both brushes you'll lucky if you get about 6 months to a year out of that and shark has the worst customer service now I have ever come across. I've had the Dyson Animal I've had the Dyson Ball I've had the Dyson cintic. I've had shark powered Lift Away I've had the shark Apex I've had the shark vertex and I even had the rocket I've tried their canister not happy with any of the shark stuff. So now I've gone to seebo. S e b o. I love their canister their power team canister I love their upright it's quiet it's amazing how much dirt and dust and debris it pulls out of the carpet fibers it's powerful you should really look into doing something like that. That looks exactly like my Apex model that I had after the Power Lift Away and I don't know what they have done to their vacuums but their power nozzle Motors are not powerful enough to withstand daily use on thick carpet that motor that's in that nozzle will not last I'm just telling you
