It’s definitely not for everyone, that’s for sure. I will say the game is kinda hard to explain in a video. Definitely cooler to experience in person! Thanks for watching!
Yeah I still remember when it first came out too! I never hear anything about it, and there’s only a few hundred ratings on BGG. I feel like I need to make a song now 🎶 “move cubes get money!” 😂
Thank you so much! And I appreciate the comment about the reviewing & teaching balance. It’s something I purposely try to do in my videos, so thanks for noticing!
Interesting is a great adjective to describe this. I'm not always in the mood for it, but it offers some really interesting decisions in a quick game. If I want to play "Age Of Steam Lite," this would be my first choice!
Excellent teach and review of another game I’ve never heard of! I actually really like the abstract look of this one. Does it play well for 2 players?? It looks like there might not be much interaction with 2 but maybe I’m wrong??
Surprisingly this game works quite well at 2p. However, the strategy feels _completely_ different at 2p. You're correct: there is less interaction. But there is still some fun interaction; it just presents a different type of strategy. At 2p, it seems like each turn, you're just trying to just net more money than your opponent on that particular turn. Like if you take an action where you both end up with $5, that seems like a wasted action. Whereas in a 3-5p game, sometimes it makes sense to help an opponent this turn so you can have a bigger turn next time. That doesn't happen as much at 2p, especially because there are more empty areas being built where you can move chocolate without helping your opponent. Still, it remains surprisingly enjoyable at 2p. I prefer the game with 4p personally. I feel like that's the sweet spot. But I will happily play it at all player counts! Thanks again for the comment!
Great question! I forgot to address it in the video, but if you see the "rules clarifications" in the video description, I discuss this. You _cannot_ place a tile in such a way that 2 groups join and 2 meeples are in the newly formed group. So what you describe would be an illegal tile placement. That is the only restriction on tile placement. Thanks for the question!
Not really my thing, but I never heard of it and I'm always on the lookout for a hidden gem. 👍

Nice overview of the game. It's one of my favorites but definitely flew under the radar.
Waaaay under the radar for sure!! Thanks for the comment!
You always show the hidden gems! One of the rarest/weirdest games I have is Timber Tom. Its a racing game and the Board is topographical and 3D.
Thanks for watching as always! Now you got me curious about Timber Tom 🧐 I checked it out on BGG and it looks really cool visually!!
Another fantastic video! Looks right up my alley!
Thank you! I know you like games at 2p, and this works well at 2p (but the strategy is much different at 2p!).
Thank you for the review! It seems very enjoyable!
Thanks for watching! Hope you get to try it sometime!!
I feel like there was a small amount of hype for this when it came out, and then it disappeared.
MOVE CUBES GET MONEY!!

Fantastic coverage for a great filler! Seriously though, good balance of review and teaching, cheers!

I liked the meeple going to work animation
Hahaha yessss! Thanks for noticing! That took waaaay too long to do 😂😂😂
Fascinating game concept! Rarely seen...
Fascinating is the perfect word for this game. Not necessarily the most "fun" game. But definitely fascinating & interesting!
Really interesting game

What happens if two different players areas are joined?

Dude how do you find these games?
Haha I think I either have an addiction, or I’ve been in the hobby too long… or both 😂
