Thanks for showing this game off, I wasn't all that interested when I first heard about it because I'm a big fan of the bigger game but I'm convinced to check it out!
The prototype paper we had to draw on is a semi-gloss kinda thick paper so it felt like wax paper and didn't compress/give. I think it should have some decent longevity + better quality in the final production.
It looks like the mechanism that keeps track of the rounds is the amount of cards the player has next to his board. Is this correct? It appears like there is much more that is going on here than what there seems to be. This game not only looks interesting to play, it looks great, too.
@beforeyouplay i'm a huge fan of the original game and have it. how much would you say your likely to play this instead of the original game? they seem a little to similar to have both games in my library. also it feel like there is more player interaction from the first one. how much player interaction would you say there is in this game?
Love that this game is giving aspects you wish you could have in OG Castles, like adding doors or removing doors. Gosh this looks great 👏👏
YES! Exactly 🤩

Please do!
Very nice explanation of the mechanics. I look forward to playing this game.
Thanks David, hope it ships faster than expected! 🤞
Looks neat.
Thanks Ben!
Thanks for another great tutorial!
At last, a Rolland Wright game for people who can't draw à la me.
Naveen still had trouble staying in the lines lol!
@@BeforeYouPlay Glad to share my levels of nincompoopery :D
Ah you've got this! We bet your castle will look awesome
The card tracing is very cute, but I feel like that’s going to damage the cards very quickly? 🤔

In a different preview, the testers commented that after many games and after pressing hard to trace, there were no masks on the cards.

End game trigger is running out of room cards. Yes! Blueprints of Mad King King Ludwig can create some serious awesome plays!
Excited to watch this…do you know if that is the box size of the final version? I hope not
It is. I'm sorry, but your hopes have been dashed.
@@coyotemoon722 haha, that’s okay….it was a plea from my stuffed Kallax 😂
Not too sure what final production will look like, but the prototype box felt close to production.
The box dimensions are in the Kickstarter FAQ.
These are special sheets? And even if not, once you used all you can't play it anymore?

85$ for the deluxe with poker chips is crazy, how much does paper and pencils cost
+ shipping...
What I would give to play a board game with the two of you......
That would be so much fun!
What did you think of the game though?
