I watch all the videos for the new balls but I really value about 5 channels and JR Pro Shop is my number one because of the variety of bowlers point of view and the different brands everyone uses
Always enjoy JR Pro Shop reviews, definitely in my top 3 along with Luke Rosdahl and JR Raymond. I like the comparison against the other balls that overlap, some reviewers don't do that enough for me. Chris Barnes is also a good watch but you guys have such great video quality and can really see downlane motion.
Definitely watch all the ball reviews I can, then I can talk to the pro shop to get their input before buying. Helps me to be informed with multiple perspectives to have better questions on how I should expect a ball to fit my arsenal.
I usually watch a couple of videos, but since I'm a driller, I get a lot more input from customers, who sometimes have more insider info than I do. (One is literally an insider.)
I bought the Storm Phase 4 after checking specs and reviews for awhile. A week later it was banned! Back to the drawing board, I looked at the 900 Global Zen Master and Storm Phase 2 specs and reviews again for awhile. Finally bought the Phase 2. I love it.
I usually wait about 2 months before I decide. I like to see all the reps throw the balls as I'm used to seeing them and how they roll it. Then the general public reviews are what help make me make the final decision. Great video! Summit is my Phaze II replacement going two hand, so excited to throw it. Jungo makes any ball look good!
Looking to get a new ball, I stand on the right side and throw between the 5 & 10 arrows and it goes straight and it hooks towards the backend. I currently throw a game breaker. Looking at phase II or 900 Zen Gold Label. Also throw a Storm Tropical which rolls nice problem is I would have to get it re-drilled to fit my fingers cause I got it at a yard sale years ago. I kinda wish I could throw cross the lane over arrow 20, but I could never get my ball to hook back which is why I throw it between 5 & 10 and let it naturally hook at the backend
I looked at about 3 of them, and my pro shop had one available. I threw it on a house shot with light oil, so I had to put polish on it. I just went to another lanes and it wasn't hooking at much after I put polish on it. Will try 3000 again and work up if necessary.
As someone who is just coming back to bowling, and with limited funds, I watch as many vids as I can for the ball that I'm interested in. That being said, your channel is the only channel I found that had a vid on the ball I went with which was the magenta solid cover Rhino. I'm already looking at getting a new ball that is a step up and have watched every video I can find for the Brunswick Attitude and the Columbia 300 Madness. Great vid on the Madness by the way.
As many reviews as possible and yours included. Some of them are also refreshers especially if I'm what like to call "dumpster diving" or "digging through the archives" for a ball I either had or a ball that's eluded me for the longest time.
I typically watch 3-5, I always watch Chris Barnes if he gets one in on Beef and Barnzy, then you guys, Darren Tang, Kyle on Brad and Kyle if he gets one in, and Jr Raymond
Got my summit back in november. Wasnt a big fan at first butnow with a lil lane on it. It hits hard. Been using it my first game and let it push some oil down for my absolute power. Been a good few weeks
Cool tech bowling bowling ball storm summit bowling ball with nano technology in the bowling ball more strike and spare hitting power at time Jr pro shop
I watch up to 5 ball reviews before considering if a ball is right for my style. Thanks for YOUR review on the Summit, comparing it to the Axiom. That was surely an eye-opener!😊
Summit is my fav...212 198 outta the box. Threw 60 above average total in league first night with it. I'm not a cranker like most of the pros doing videos. Guys I was bowling against all loved the shape. Throwing from 13 at the post to 10 arrow. Making the turn around 7-8 at 42'. BOOM!
Thanks for this review. I missed out on the Phaze 2 kinda so I've ordered the Summit. I already have the Axiom. Looking forward to taking both to a tournament.
i absolutely love your reviews , I thanked you in caloundra with my son , ,I unfortunately have to use this awful stonehenge at my local centre as its the house pattern, I have purchased 14 balls and changed layouts trying to find something that works on it, could you please show what you would use on this terrible stonehenge pattern please
Ideally, I try to see you, Darren, J.R., Beef and Barnzy throw a ball before I buy it, but it doesn't always work out that way. Also, I try to watch the Storm 6-way etc. vids as well.
2-3 reviews however must keep in mind bowler styles and rev rates are always slightly different so hopefully you have found someone to watch with similar style, speed , rev rate. I trust my Pro shop operator who is aware of my style and arsenal, Keith at the Gold Coast in Las Vegas has been great !
The Summit to me is part Axiom, part Phaze 3. But I do watch several videos before purchasing any ball and even wait to see someone else throw it during my leagues so I get a better idea if it would work for me at that given center.
i watch a couple of videos to see if i like the ball motion than wait to go to the ball demo to throw them the ball i'm looking to see if the ball works for me
I watch alot of reviews it's hard watching most because none of you bowl close to what I bowl. I'm a slower bowler so I can't even get close to bowling the way you guys can so makes it hard there are a few places I can watch that give me a better idea if it would work for me or not I still like watching what you have to say about the ball. Wish I could do that 😊
I tend to watch 5-6 sometimes upwards of 10 different reviews. Also try to pick those that compare them to more than one ball and try to showcase the entire lane.
Nomrally watch 3-4 reviews. I'm torn on this ball, I have the Axiom Solid and Axiom Pearl, but the solid is starting to crack, so this Summit could be its replacement. But seems like Hybrid Coverstock balls do not match up with me.
I usually do alot of research of several videos. Love the content, need to buy tht phaze2 and summit..Keep up the great work.. I have the Eternity, Fate, and Ruby...
I have that lay out on my one ball and I love it but you have it on all 3 in the vid…what do you like about it…you have a lot of hand me not so much, but I got my pitches adjusted on a new PII I got for Christmas 🎅🏾 and love in and that then is as they say a goat! So I’m looking at the summit for a 1-2 punch. Any just wondered about the layout never seen in on a lot of balls. I was told it a neutral one…your thoughts? 🤙🏾 Great stuff as usual!!!🤌🏾
Im watching like 6 er 9. Never bought a brand new ball bit have a couple hand me down used ones. Alot of balls tend to over hook for me. I started throwing 2 handed hooks 3 months ago with 16lb house balls and have been getting 180s and 190s pretty regularly. I need a ball to take me into the 200s
I buy a ball when I find someone who throws similar to me with the ball I am thinking about buying. Thats why seeing multiple different ways to deliver the ball... low, medium, high rev... stroker style and etc...
I watch at least 5 reviews, Can you do a review on bowling ball cleaners pls? there is literally almost 0 on UA-cam, between the most popular ones would be awesome to see the difference in quality
Great review. Interesting you mentioned maybe starting with eurothane on the fresh. I thought using the biggest, strongest balls first were best for fresh. I'm just coming back to bowling after years of not. Trying to learn my terms and stuff all over again.
The reason most pros start with urethane on the fresh is simply due to the control it gives compared to the big strong balls. You can stay much further right with urethane than with anything else. Urethane usually doesn’t have a very big core, but the coverstocks have much more traction than anything reactive resin, so it technically doesn’t hook as much, but it’s so much earlier than reactive that it creates a very high level of controllability compared to anything else.
@Superidiotglitchy5 well that's also my point also. With fresh heavy oil you would think you need the bigger balls to cut through the oil. I can eurothane on dry lanes for more control that way. But for me for some reason I can't make any big ball do insane tricks like others I guess. Lol. I've got a uc3 pearl eurothane, a medium strength symmetrical, and an rst x3 assymetrical and it seems I'm still playing the same down and in shot with all of them with only little variation. And this morning I bowled down and in on a fresh houseshot and also spent 45 min on a 36ft viper pattern. Same down and in shots. I wish I could get fancy moving left but I don't have a 1,000 rev rate I guess. I wonder if I need lots of extra surface on the gear. Oh well.
Usually try to watch more than 5 reviews before considering new equipment. Nice review and good use case information! The color on the shop parts of the video looks too over saturated. The Phaze II looks too red, Axiom blue is too bright and Summit yellow pops much more than I've seen in real life.
i wait for a ball to be proven, which for me is to show up in everyone's bags, and then I buy at as the ball gets cheaper later in its life, or it usually is available as tournament deal somewhere. Cost control is important for me.
Actually the ones I listen to are Luis Napoles, Chris Barnes, Darren and you. Just a suggestion any possibility getting a senior bowler or female to do ball reviews
Luke Rosdahl, DTang, Beef & Barnzy are usually the channels I have to watch before considering a ball but I pre-ordered the summit once I saw it. Unique numbers and a updated TX cover got me intrigued
I like your view on balls, I wish you threw the summit a little more though. I feel like I didn’t get to see too much of the summit :/ still love your reviews tho
The key to the regular axiom is to toss it with a touch of polish or lane shine which is also how the tour players use it. Phaze 2 is a goat , summit looks interesting excluding the colors....yuck, lol
There are 3 reviews that are a must watch for me before buying a ball. I watch Jungo, Darren Tang, and Chris Barnes. Great review Jungo.
Wait, all channels have Storm-sponsored players.
@@jonathancaballeros3408some prefer only storm balls. To each their own, but I’ve got a mixed bag of everything.
@@jonathancaballeros3408 I prefer Storm, and JR Pro Shop reviews other manufacturers as well.
Literally!! 💯
How about the bald white guy on the other channel, I think he's a Jr too. He blocked me for calling out his politics , on his channel lol
Storm rep here in Brasil.
Always in the channel for smart independent commentary.
Good job, Jungo

I've ordered 2 of the Summits, one a bit more rougher duller surface and the other more polished for that length and the burn.
Definitely watch all the ball reviews I can, then I can talk to the pro shop to get their input before buying. Helps me to be informed with multiple perspectives to have better questions on how I should expect a ball to fit my arsenal.
First off loving the new quality, next I watch about 4 or 5 diff reviews before making a decision. Good to get a variety of input

Jungo what’s your standard layout
And what would you suggest if I’m looking to get a similar back end motion as you?

Great video! Does the Summit lane shine quickly?
Would be very cool to see Simoo throw this 😁
Bought this ball when it came out. Easily my favorite ball of 2023, and my favorite ball in my bag.
Most of the time, when I get a new ball, I get one of the "GOAT" balls, such as Phaze 2, Venom Shock, Zen, and Purple Pearl.
Perfect for the house bowler that loves skid snap even if it means risking more splits from my observation
Ideally, I try to see you, Darren, J.R., Beef and Barnzy throw a ball before I buy it, but it doesn't always work out that way. Also, I try to watch the Storm 6-way etc. vids as well.
Was thinking about getting the summit I'm a slower speed lower rev player on house shot will this ball be ok to throw?
Would you recommend polish on this ball? Thank you
I like to check out at least two reviews before I start to form an opinion. Wish it was easier to try out a ball before purchase.
All of them. Every time. I'm garbage and need all the help I can get.
Same 😭
Nice music 🎶 🎵 👌
Drill a summit low flare layout. Wanna see how that is !
How much of a difference does that shorter pin on the Phaze II make? it looks to be a good 2-3" different from the other two.

I watch about 7 to 10 people's reviews, Different types of releases and see which one closest looks like mine.
I watch a ton before I buy and have found that I don't throw like a pro and don't get the same reaction from the balls.
I watch as many as I can. I made the mistake of not watching any in the past and getting a ball drilled with the wrong layout as a result.
I watch about 6 or 7 reviews that's including yours

With the summit I got to throw one at a ball demo
I watch like 5 to 6 reviews before i decide wether to buy or not.
I watch as many as I can find
I watch all the reviews of every ball, doesn’t mean I’ll buy one.
I probably watch five reviews from respected sources before purchasing
I use the Cuda from 1995. And the new Cuda from 2022
2 or 3 usually
I watch at least 3 or 4 of them before I buy a ball.
Normally, I watch high rev speed guys, and then I decided. So normally 2 or 3 if they have enough shots thrown
