- Did I just make the world's first waffle lamp?? i hope so. Although there's probably no award for that.
This was such a fun epoxy resin project! It took quite a long time, but I learned a lot and thankful to finally get this idea out of my head. What should I turn into a lamp next?

I love your brilliant ideas. The cons are that you can't sleep because you're so curious about could become of some glowing waffles, but that is paid off 10 times by the SATISFING results. You're the favourite art class teacher I have ever encountered. ❤❤😊

You just cover it in resin? you don't use a stabilizing resin that is specifically for bread and food stuffs? Your confidence is awe inspiring! I would love to see these in a year or two. see how they held up! great project!

The end result turned out great, although I'm not sure why you didn't cover the butter with "syrup" as well... I think it would've made the butter look more melty... but I'm not sure why you used such a big stirring stick for the resin... I think a smaller one would've worked much better... LoL

Next time you can add a touch of yellow polymer clay into the translucent clay to get a better colour.
Or maybe a thin layer of matte yellow nail polish.
The butter is bringing down that incredible lamp.

I have also created a waffle lamp, as I said in the previous video about your obsession of how I make food stuff too. Unfortunately I ate my waffle lamp and now the lamp is stuck inside my stomach. I am dying in 69 days

You should have read the fine print that said not to eat it…may the next 69 days be your best
Evan and Katelyn have put a lot of food in resin, there’s def steps you can take to make it last longer, waffles are pretty dry so it might be fine but the air tight seal of the resin doesn’t actually prevent mold 100%

This came out so well, LOL, when you were positing something translucent I was screaming GLASS (a medium I work in 😅) - glad you went your own way and taught me something new!

How about a string of strawberry resin lights 👀 like a Christmas type light strand but with strawberries. Or actual chili pepper lights, like the fake ones in Seattle but with real peppers haha. Yeaaa, those would be litty. I feel like a strand with each light alternating between lemons and limes would also look awesome.

Maybe you can dehydrate your food completely before sticking them into resin to prevent mold and gross juice building up over time

Didn't he toast them before putting them in resin? Tell me if I'm wrong but.... Toasting is just removing moisture through heat on breath products.

i just had an idea could you possibly blow up the gloves like a balloon cover em' in resin but leave the bit your hands go into resinless and you could cut it so you could wear them again [indestructible gloves]
Seeing this five months later after the tiktok of the girl who ordered a croissant lamp went viral when she realized the seller did this exact thing, hollowed out an actual croissant and coated it in resin is a trip
