Project materials:
- pie tin
- concrete patching compound
- fork, or spoon, or screwdriver, or marker (basically anything works, even just your fingers)
- LED string lights
- hot glue
- black spray paint
- scrap cardboard

I made this for my daughters’ bed room. When I saw the short from ya. They loved it. It turned out great. This was the project that had me watching all your videos.

I made 2 for each of our kids rooms too. Best nightlights ever! We got color changing lights too

I tried to get the right glue stick for my glue gun, but I got the tiny glue stick instead of the big one😂
I did 2 of these moons for my kids for Christmas after your last video. Best nightlights ever. Somehow I can't do stylistic moons, and I ended up going for realism and copied a picture of the real thing, but they turned out great. I also glued the cardboard circle after glueing on the lights. I used plug in color changing lights. My boys disagree what color their moon should be. The older one usually wants blue or even red, and the younger one always wants green. Luckily their bedtimes are staggered. My daughter wanted pink for a while, but the last couple of months she's had a light blue "Elsa" moon. Lol. With the longer days here in Idaho in summer, I've been thinking of getting timers so the moons can be off during the day, and on when it's time for bed. That way they can't keep saying "It's not bedtime, the sun is up!"

I need to make one of these. Also, I think it would be very cool of you painted glow of the dark stars on the cardboard frame so when it's dark they glow like actual night. It is an amazing craft I never would have thought of.

@@itsConnorCreates yes Worm farming is another way to dispose of unwanted food waste and get a liquid fertiliser as well. Food scraps are placed in the worm farm regularly and special worm farm worms eat their way through it. The worms in a worm farm are different to the garden worms you find when digging in your garden.

OK, first the dirt ball cause I can't remember the name, gangi or gongie anyway, I really liked it, just don't have the time to make it, but this moon, way cool I can even think of ways to make it better by using nicer boarder materials.
