    Thank you. So much easier than trying to find info you need in the manual. I finally connected to my wifi. I'm heating a 10x20 shed with insulated walls and soon to be insulated A-frame roof.
    I'll see how it does tonight compared to my 39 year old DeLonghi oil heat machine.
    I feel better that I not only can monitor Temps, I can turn it off an on while I'm inside the house.
    The shed is about 15vfeetvfrom the side of the house

      I had a hell of a time getting the Wi-Fi to work also. Frustrating as hell!!

    FYI, if your HS-PHX-1500-WIFI unit doesn't have a "wifi/sun" button, hold down the "up arrow" button for 5 seconds to activate the wifi.

      There is no arrow. Only +/- symbols. Neither of them activate the wifi.

      Hey man quick question. So do you actually need wifi to use it from your phone or does it have its own wifi? Like if I was gonna put it in a deer blind could I control it from my house?

    Hi there, great video, thank you. I had my heater up and running without any problems last year but, having put it away over the summer,this time, when I try to connect to the wifi,I get as far as connecting to the SmartLife wifi then get the message “Ready to connect when network quality improves.” and the wifi light continues to blink slowly and the app remains on the wifi connections page so I can go no further.
    I have tried all the usual resetting,forgetting and rebooting stuff, but nothing seems to help. When I unplug then re plug the heater the wifi light returns blinking slowly.
    Any help would be gratefully received. Thank you.

    I thought this video would suck because it doesn't have enough likes and UA-cam remove the dislike count. My videos perfect, clear, concise and works. People putting up quality videos like this are just getting fucked.

    Unfortunately I've been trying to connect the heater to my 2.4G wifi for 2 hours and it won't connect, I've tried this UA-cam method, the manuals method, my manual method and the prompts on the app and none are working, it says failed to connect. Looks like this unit it garbage and I just purchased it today and took it out of the box.

    So I have 4 of these. Two of them connected to wifi with zero issues. The second 2, no matter how hard or how long I press the wifi button, the blue signal never pops up.
    Is there a way to do it using the remote? It's very frustrating as we use Alexa for everything but these two devices we have to operate manually.

      This is definitely the Wi-Fi model. I purchased four of the exact same item. 2 work, 2 don’t. The model number is HS-1500-PHX

      I have the same issue too. HS-1500-PHX. No Wi-Fi blinking no matter how long I hold down the Wi-Fi button for.

    How many would be needed to effectively heat a 6 car garage? And can multiple of these heaters be linked into appearing as a single heater on the app? So it’s easy to adjust all heaters to the same setting?

Depending on your ceiling height and insulation, you would probly need 4 or 5 but at that point I would just recommend our 240 V 6000 watt Garage Heater! heatstorm.com/collections/garage-and-patio/products/6000-watt-heavy-duty-wall-mounted-or-ceiling-mounted-wifi-enabled-heater

    Hi Thank you for the video for some reason I can’t change 5ghz ro 2.4 ghz I have a Samsung ultra 20 an a Galaxy fold 2 , I am stuck because the phone ask me for de 2.4ghz so I switched but appear in the device to the heater but without connection to the internet , have to be mor easy or I m wrong ?
    I spend 2 hours and for for this machine , I have connected my irrigation garden was so easy ,any advice I will appreciate

    Any idea if it’s possible to pair the heater with more than one device? I’d like my wife to be able to turn on and off the heater as well.

      Sure thing! You can share the device with a phone number by clicking on edit in the top right corner of the orange screen and then "share device" They will then be able to download the smart life app and gain access to your device!

    Bigger question. How do you connect this model to feet??? I don't understand why the non-wifi models come with feet, but you can't even attach the same feet to this model. Did you ever think that some of us don't want this thing mounted to a wall all year-round, when we only need it for 3-4 months of the year?

      It's because it has WiFi.. it doesn't allow feet because of safety reasons from what I was told.

      Very easy to unmount it from your wall if you don't want it there anymore.

    It's fairly awful that this device does not support 5gzh network.

      We have the AP mode for routers that don't have a separate 2.4ghz network

    During the middle of the night, we’ll early AM I should say… my heater turns itself to 4 degrees. So I have to physically get out of bed or turn on my phone in the middle of the night to turn it up. What the heck is going on here?? I live above the garage so it gets freezing here over night. And where I live it’s still getting close to zero degrees at night. Brrrrrrrrrrr 🥶🥶
