You do things nobody else can do! You are truly amazing and if I lived a hundred lifetimes I could never ever do what you do . . . Peace my guitar playing brother and thank you for the notes !
Michael is an amazing guitarist......this is nothing short of amazing. For this being so old......the original video...it has something that stands seemingly eternal which places him in a special category for me.
Thanks! 😁🎸🎸
@@MichaelAngeloBatioOfficial thanks.... This is wild
What a maestro! Pure artistry!
Best guitar player to ever walk this Earth
Check guthrie govan then talk xD
@@sandrosarunic9486 I would say guthrie is probably better at legato and tapping but MAB in his prime has one of the best picking and sweeping techniques of all time and is still one of the best in my opinion
@@kiloreynosa5522 it depends what you are comparing. Can Guthrie play left hand guitars? Can he play both left and right at the same time? Upsidedown? In that regard we know who is better...
I still go back to this video to inspire me to keep playing guitar. Truly legendary.
One of the greatest routines in the history of guitar
Thank you 🤘
@@MichaelAngeloBatioOfficial you are the best!😉
The playing two different licks at the same time, one with each hand, now thats something thats just beyond hardcore
There is simply no one like this man.
I loved you and Rob Scallon together Michael! You are such a shining goofball of virtuosic excellence and I hope you are feeling great wherever you are.
Why does he do these things? Because he can!
This man is absolutely incredible
he's just making sure nobody can cover his music... the right way
The final boss. THE SHRED GOD!
That's the most insane stuff I've ever seen. God damn. How gifted can a man be?
Absolutely amazing!! I just can’t believe it every time I see it it blows me away🤘🏻🤘🏻
I saw you with Manowar in Switzerland 2023. You rock !!
The best guitar performance ever.
Absolutely 🤘🤘
Top tier standard of mastery, talent, hard work (practice) and creativity. Legend
this guy, deserves more attention, He was incredible😱🔥🤛🏻
i was here 5 months ago and back here again. Can not stop listening to this. Amazing
soooo glad I found this!!!!. I used to skip school in Tampa fla in 87-89 JUST to see Michael Angelo Batio.. FUN FACT I still use the Dunlop Jazz lll picks he taught us in those clinics. GOD BLESS YOU SIR! I still play to this day, thanks to you. ....AND O.F.R. was and IS a #Classic.
The UA-cam algorithm is wild yo.
Greatest night of my life was when MAB came to India Guwahati IIT... When he came to the stage it was like this huge beast of a man walked in and shredded the world upside down... I couldn't breathe and i just stared in awe and tears started rolling down my eyes... finally seeing my guitar hero perform live was more than i could ask for...
That's some great harmonies with a Double Guitar
he can play right handed, left handed, crossed armed, over-under fretting, with the guitars inverted - and he pulls it all off like a beast! The next guitar im buying has to be the MAB1! This ladies and gentlemen, is what a guitar God looks like! ROCK ON MAB! \M/
Yes! Thanks for the nice words!
@@MichaelAngeloBatioOfficial they're well deserved! :)
When you went to both neck at the same time, I expected a portal to hell to open up behind the stack amps and for Satan to come collect your soul for the talent.
Oh he came for me, but the shred fended him off.
Was gonna say Satan probably sold his soul to Batio to play like that 🤣
Dude I’m pretty sure the devil would have to sell HIS soul for this level of shred
still one of the most badass things I've ever seen... I check back every once in awhile just to make sure.
This guy doesn't have the keys to the Lamborghini, he has the keys to the Lamborghini factory and all the facilities around it.
GREAT playing and a great inspiration. Thank you MAB!
Michael Angelo Batio you are an incredibly amazing guitarist! WAY TOO underrated!!! The ambidextrous playing and showmanship are what make you one of the greats! I used to be a skeptic and I'm sorry that I was, but now I am totally a fan! Rock on \m/
This is the type of shit that deserves millions of views!
For real
He ain't from this planet..most mind blowing guitarist I have seen in my life
He's the powerfull guitarplayer in this world 🤘🔥
Michael, thanx for making rock & metal cool again with this one video!
(Most young ones will think this was a fluke, or some kind of special effect, but uh-uh...this guy is for real!!!!!!)
2:33 I love that part! You're one of the best guitar players ever, Michael!👍🤘
Anyone talking shit about you and your approach to music. You’ve had a career for DECADES due to the choices you’ve made and the character you possess.
I can appreciate that. I can for SURE respect that. I’m sure a lot of people could learn from you, even today and aspire to having this kind of longevity, not even CONSIDERING skill and proficiency. Especially in a world constantly evolving and changing.
If someone ask me if u ever see a Guitar God... Then I say yes... None other than Michael Angelo Batio... A living legend with a very nice scence of Humor... So down to earth man... And I love him... He is inspiration to every guitar players in this world...
Can I learn to play like this on the Guitartricks app? Wow. My mouth is on the floor. Such skill and showmanship. I just learned about you tonight! How is this possible? I’ve listened to a LOT of guitarists! How have I never heard of you? No one can hold a candle to you! Not Eddie. Not Randy. Not Yngwie. Satriani. No one! I am now officially obsessed.
I m here standing as a legend before it hits 1k view🔥
Michael you are so talented and also so humble. My best wishes to you.
Thank you Ema! 🤘
Levels of guitar players...Beginner, Amateur, Professional, Japanese, Batio
The play two different time signatures at the same time so cleanly mind blowing! Then you throw in the Allman brothers, you are a wizard!!!
The double harmonised purple haze, so cool
M.A.B...an actual guitar god eons above 99% every other guitar player alive or dead. You do stuff on a guitar that I'm pretty sure is physically impossible for most people, such as sweeping upside down OVER the neck incredibly fast, AND clean! It's like we're all level 1, and you're the final boss. Simply amazing, my dude.
Thanks for sharing your extraordinary talents with us. Your ability to show the potential of what a human can do is inspiring and your sense of melody and interpretations of other popular melodies and riffs is outstanding, your dedication and hard work is obvious.
The amazing thing is he hasn't lost a step. The EVH tribute was magnificent, love the arrangements you do.
6:07 final boss form. Theme: Megalovania
i like the harmony at that part!
I thought it was morphin' time.
Love your playing and great attitude,....thanx for sharing with us.
Michael, how does it feel to be the greatest guitar player of all times?
