ONE PENCIL PORTRAIT! Realistic Drawing Tutorial using Just Black Colored Pencil

‪@BMDPortraits‬ Decided to try a One Piece Pencil drawing challenge using only the Black Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencil. This is another realistic portrait drawing tutorial but focuses on layering a realistic skin tone of Lana Del Rey with only one pencil. The paper that I use here is the Strathmore Colored Pencil Paper.

Thank you for sharing I love the black polychromes pencil as I have notice that is much darker than graphite when drawing but never attempted to just do a whole portrait in just this one color. I am encouraged to try this method ❤

Unrelated but what is the best fixative spray for graphite? I have krylon matte finish but I notice that it blurs my work. Or maybe I sprayed way too much? I spray like 1ft away from the paper and two layers. Like I guess can you make a tutorial on how you seal/preserve your work for archival purposes?

I only tried the Kuelox Fixative....it works well on my charcoal and graphite
