Hello, my mother and I are both self taught artists (no schooling, only trial and error lol) we are both in love with this but are both wondering what you are using to set your hand on to prevent the bleeding of graphite and smearing? Is it just a plastic paper like thingy or something special?

I am using Faber-Castell Graphite Pencil! You can also use Derwent Graphite pencils.

Ordinary white hard chart paper that you can get from any stationary shop with smooth texture.😊

How to draw white hair
you can use white Pitt Pastel pencil or mono eraser for white hair.
Why is your graphite not shining even though you pressing it
All pencil drawings look shiny. I adjust lights in a specific way to avoid their reflections on my drawing.

My jelly roll pen never seems to come out as white as that... ever.
Try flicking it after every stroke , also clean the residue paint often.
