What else would it play? SEES or Makoto himself never had their own personal battle themes. It’s just playing because it’s the P3 protagonist and they just needed music from P3 to fit with the theme and what other theme to use other than Mass Destruction?

This was seen in the anime where they reveal their actual names given by Atlus. Makoto Yuki is the official names from the movie, later on crossovers like Chain Chronicle and Star Ocean Anamnesis. Yu Narukami is the official name used by Atlus, later more common in the canon timeline spin offs. Ren Amamiya is the canon name in the media, possibly used more in the future Persona games. Also the names given have some meaning towards their characterization and situations/battles they were in.

A neat difference between makoto and Yu
Makotos personas are simple, basic even, his physical attacker has charge, one of his magical attackers has concentrate, nothing much else, except for his Thanatos being a trump card with door of Hades
Yu is a bit more sporadic though, he will try to inflict brainwash, has charge on a magic attacker for his other attacks, and two of his magic attackers have both the most powerful of their element...and then the stage below, which is really weird if you think about it
Overall, makoto is simple, yu is, for this example, complicated

A remake might be a bad idea though, considering that Atlus loves adding and changing things that might hinder the original, especially if the entire FeMC thing is handled.
A remaster with added cutscenes, small bonuses and voice lines would be better IMO.
But they already made a model of all main characters and small locations in P3DMN

@@crazyfox669 They can't make Tartarus anymore fun, it's basically vertical Mementos with each floor being auto-generated. If they made every floor have the complexity of a Palace with the puzzles and all, then it will become more tedious to climb Tartarus and it's absurd amount of floors.
As for character models and locations from P3DMN, that's like a small percentage of the game that they will no longer worry about and they still need to do the models of the Social Link Characters. Plus those small locations are just stage backdrops for them to dance on, it's not like a fully explorable location.

What would have made for an interesting twist to the fights is the rules being kind of like the fight with Elizabeth, except with your punishment being Myriad Truths or Armageddon. Not DDS2 Demifiend hard but not too easy either. These guys DID save the world.

And with the QoL upgrades from 5, seriously having the entire party level instead of just those you have on the team is a huge breath of fresh air in a game where you are already on the clock.
@@Altoryu YES. Leveling up in P3/P3F/P3P is extremely frustrating and in half of the game, you're underleveled. Grinding in Tartarus with that boring black blobs™ is a chore and make the game way less interesting.
For Persona's 30th anniversary, they should remake Persona 3 FES, and Persona 4 Golden in P5's style, and release them along side P6. But that's asking for too much

I think the true problem with this battles is the inteligence artificial, i mean, they just feel stupid, like they are just throwing moves without thinking, and that in a battle for you have to pay, is POOR WORK and LAME
Of course i would like to see a LOT of things more, like the posibility to fight aleatory with sees and the investigation team, the double spells and weapons change of makoto, and more moves of yu trying to break your recistens, but if we have to start in someting, is in the poor inteligence
These battles are optional just like the new personas they added tbh. I mean yea they give some extra items and what not but other then the thrill of "OH SHIT ITS MAKOTO!!!" or "OH SHIT IT'S YU!! It's not really an incentive

Since I hadn't had the chance to play p3 yet I was very shocked seeing him shoot himself and summon his persona, I mean I knew about how p3 did their persona summoning but still caught me off guard

The lack of shits Makoto gives in this fight is priceless. It's made even better by the fact that instead of "Unavoidable Battle" playing, "Mass Destruction" plays instead. The cherry on top of Makoto's "I don't care" level boss fight, he doesn't even use Orpheus Telos or the Wild Card ability.
Damn, i really hope that there will be persona game that persona 4 team and persona 5 team try to save makoto yuki from his seal.

I can't wait to take on Makoto Yuki when I get to a good point where I can fight him adequately! He is my favorite protagonist after all alongside his female counterpart (Minako Arisato). I've seen all the videos so far take on the DLC protagonist fights in the third semester. Do you think that it's OK to take on the fights when Lavenza is still Caroline and Justine in the main storyline?

I know it's 2 different games but it kinda sucks we didn't get to battle their full potential. Like in pokemon when you face red in johto it really feels like you're battling with a champion. But then when you realize that when makoto starts fusing persona and yu release Izanagi no okami it's kinda gameover

Stop running away from the truth, Makoto Yuki is the real canon name, just like yu narukami and Ren amamiya. Those names are in the dancing games, animes and even in the atlus website.

@@silvershadow9967 I know that dancing games aren't canon omg. I am sick of people not accepting the canon names of the protagonists. Soji seta is not canon. It's Yu narukami, minato arisato is not canon, it's makoto Yuki, Akira kurusu it's not canon. It's Ren amamiya. Atlus have been doing this for 10 fucking years. Now if you understand this and calls protagonists the manga names just because it's cooler for you,then I respect. But you have to accept it
@@Kelsier01 I don't think it is cooler, it's just that the manga was made before the animation and I hate how that animation ruined the magic for Persona 5. Also people don't call Persona 3 protagonist Makoto since there is another one in P5
