In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.
I always love tasks like this one that reveal that every single member of the cast are absolute lunatics in their own different and creative way
Chris's game had excitement, it had slow-motion hilarity, it had Alex getting slapped in the face repeatedly by a high-speed sausage. I can see why Greg liked it.

Alex watching Ardal trying to stick the mannequins head into the cement mixer and looking absolutely terrified was one of my favorite moments of this season 🤣

Ardle got robbed on this one. while it wasn't the most creative idea. his hair salon had everyone laughing including Alex breaking character in stitches laughing. it was absolutely hilarious and he should have gotten more points for the comedic element of it all!

Just like me having to figure out that skittles = bowling pins (thought skittles was just candy LMAO) and that a croupier = dealer (more or less) and like 5 more things that I’m just now hearing for the first time while watching Taskmaster 🤣
The shot at 3:40 of Ardal and Alex absolutely losing it at the absurdity of what's happening is exactly the kind of magic TM provides. Bravo
Such a fun task. Chris's attempt really stands out, but seeing this for the 3rd time, Ardal's really is something hilarious for all the ways it goes wrong.

I found Ardal slightly dark too - verging on League of Gentlemen level. When he sits on the manquin, shoves her head in the cement mixer you can see him laugh from the sheer insanity of the situation he’s put himself in - by accident. He’s such a great performing comedian.
Chris is perfectly silly with a great accent 😊

I like that the rules of the sausage game, as stated, don't say you can't use your hands. But they both just assumed you can't use your hands.
Just utter mayhem, all five of them, varying only in degree. Classic Taskmaster, with the benefit that Chris has invented two incredible games.

There has to be something worthy about using safety goggles in a challenge where they really were needed.
I have used mixers before and thought it wouldn't be too bad as they aren't fast moving. I forgot to consider the extention of the poles in it making the speed faster. I think you would be more easiliy hurt doing that than making cement.

Greg definitely glossed over Ardle's segment too much. His act is the highlight of this whole task to me.
Simple idea with excellent and funny delivery. You know the segment js good when Alex couldn't control his laughter throughout the task.
It was a hot mess and I loved it. 😄
So good. Chris’s really resonated at the time of watching (I rewound and watched it again several times over!). Now a few months have passed, Ardal straddling the mannequin and Alex breaking is even more hilarious. 😂😂❤❤

I loved this task! My personal ranking from 1 point to 5 would be Sophie, Judy, Ardal, Bridget and Chris, based on creativity and over entertainment.
I'm surprised they cut, if there were any, Ardle's successful attempt to scalp and snap a woman's neck while straddling her chest.

The sausage game was absolutely the most hilarious segment on Taskmaster in a long time. Totally interesting, that Alex Horne did not hesitate to name Hugh Dennis as the constant that he would like to raise as his child.

Sophie's idea was my second favorite after the sausage spinner. It was sweet and she seemed very genuine.
