Soooooo, now you can easily conspire your theories about Super Bowl 49. Ricardo didn't execute his route fast enough and I honestly believe he gave the play away from the line of scrimmage to fault Wilson.
Marc Amico They had Lynch! It shouldn’t have been a pass play to begin with! Plus if you watch videos, the Patriots practiced that play over and over with Butler so he could make the play that he did. They knew what the Seahawks were going to do before the game even started. If they gave Lynch the ball like everyone said, then they would have won another Super Bowl.
@@shattered2833 The play that was called, was a terrible idea for one glaring reason... BRANDON BROWNER! He knew that play was a favorite of Bevell's, when Seattle was in redzone/goal situations. The pick set by Browner says it all. He knew how to set his man, Butler, up for a gem of a pick/route-jump move. Had the 'Hawks only gone to a play action bootleg... ugh! Go 'Hawks!
Pretty funny when you think about how both Brian Bostick and Ty Montgomery both were released from the Packers almost the very next day after they both ignored directions on what to do during a special teams play

That was me when the Packers beat the Cowboys in the 2016? Playoffs. I was working at cowboy fans house in a cowboy loving town. Yeah I had to leave soon after
Tony Romo is a fantastic analyst, I’m glad he found life after football. It’s a joy to listen to him, dude loves the game. Troy and Joe need to take notes.
Im a Pats fan, but I freaking love Romo, specially because of his commentary on the game. Still though, part of me thinks that he could have been better in the playoffs if he wasn’t hooking up with so many babes
I swear being a hawks fan is just something else entirely. We always have to have multiple games per season that are decided by the very last play and its such an emotional rollercoaster.
As a bears fan he had the best stats for the bears but not the wins to back it up sadly, he shined talent but was soooo inconsistent. Kinda like a Ryan Fitzpatrick but full time starter :(
The Packers moment eternally hurts me. However, what kills me is the fact that the play ended a Aaron Rodgers vs Tom Brady super bowl. That would’ve been something
Man I can’t believe that that Packers vs Seahawks game still hurts. We made like 4 field goals instead of scoring at least one more touch down that have us a big lead and then that onside kick 😫.

No, you would have done the damn job you were assigned to do, as the third string TE who rarely sees the field and blotches one of his *FEW* jobs... unforgiveable. And mind you that's a play they likely practiced OFTEN, and if they didnt then McCarthy really is a terrible coach
It was actually very smart thinking by Romo to run for the end zone immediately, when I think most holders would’ve just ran around hoping for someone to get open. If somebody would have blocked Babineaux for even half a second, he might have made it too.
A video on Jay Cutler would be interesting. I feel like people over exaggerate how bad he was. I don't think he was ever that bad, it was more just coaching

Lots of Wisconsin connections. Bostic plated for the packers. Haselback was a back up at the start of his career in Green Bay. And Romo, grew up in Wisconsin.
Even as a Saints fan, I can only give respect to Tony Romo: he struggled a lot with mediocre squads in Dallas (mostly with bad OL and defense) and led them to places where they shouldn’t be. Unfortunely, this cost his own body health. At least, he’s getting some respect back as a analyst.
Jeremy Hill 2015 Cincinnati Bengals wildcard game. I don't think that counts as a full team collapse. Yes the direct catlyst that led to the game winning fg was a series of untimely defensive penalties, but giving the ball back to your opponent with 1 min left in a one point game when all you have to do is ice the clock is pretty much the definition of costing your team a playoff victory.
As someone who is just recently getting into football (I'm not from the US), that chess analogy hits the spot. It's like someone said, how about we make a game with very high strategy level where the athletes bash themselves against each other lile madmen. It's fucking amazing

I feel badly for Bostick. He was blamed for the entire loss, when there was a string of events that could have put the game away, and their defense just didn't do it. Who slides to the turf after an interception with about five minutes left of gameplay? How could they let Marshawn Lynch finally breakaway for walk in touchdown? What about that ridiculous two point conversion that Russell had to throw across the width of the field to an uncovered Luke Willson, who was responsible for letting him catch the ball without even trying to tackle him? And the overtime drive, where Baldwin caught and ran with an excellent sideline pass, and after a full four quarters of hammering Jermaine Kearse causing him to be responsible for four turnovers, they break down and he catches the go route pass to seal the win. No blame to be had there I guess, but McCarthy and Nelson and Rodgers had it out for Bostick like the game came down to retrieving that onside kick. The guy was beating himself up over the play enough, but his teammates were just as awful to him, and really, he didn't deserve it. I know you said no single team collapses, but the Packers loss to Seattle was a group effort, masked by Aaron Rodger's brilliance on one leg. Bostick's fumbled catch is iconic, but I knew even before that play, when the defense slid to the grass on that fourth interception with so much time left that they would regret it. They went from playing aggressively and confidently to desperation and ultimate defeat.
One thing Romo didn't have most of his career was a good O Line. Which is probably why he became one of the best scrambling QBs in the league. The team eventually built him an O line but it was too late. Too many injuries.
Man I was so young when this happened so i can’t tell you when or anything else about this. But what about that time when the Green Bay Packers had like substitute refs who called the most ridiculous call in the endzone.
