Oh good, you're alive👍Been doing this for very many years, did a vid 5 or 6 years back. Not comfortable with that long hose that you have going there though. My adapter is all metal, no hose. #1 TIP - make sure that the 20lb tank is at least 65°F or more and the 1lb tanks are below freezing. Helps the propane flow better and gets more in the 1 pounder. Put the 1 pounders in the freezer for a few hours before filling. RTFO!!!🤘
I didn’t even know you could do this until I looked it up after seeing something on Amazon. I just want to heat my room at night and not my whole house. Definitely going to get something like this. Thank you for the video.
I believe a 20 lb tank with the OPD (overflow prevention valve) actually holds 18 lbs, but Blue Rhino only fills them to 15. it"s SLIGHTLY cheaper to own the bottle & have a gas company refill it, but it's hard to beat the convenience of Blue Rhino: available everywhere, no periodic inspections, and no old rusty bottles. You are getting 3 lbs less every time tho.
I just tried this for the first time. It was kind of a hassle but I got them full using the flame king. Then for a week I kept smelling something in the shop. Today I filled some Fuel Keg bottles with their filler. I picked up the Coleman bottles and one was almost empty. Another was no longer fill. , So never will I refill the disposable ones.
Most likely so you can take them to be refilled at a LP refill place. LP tanks have dates stamped in them, they are good for 12 years and then need to be serviced for an additional 7 years.
The disposables are thin aluminum. It will fatigue and explode from the refill pressure cycling. The refillable ones like Flame King and Fuel Keg are steel and US-DOT approved for 12 years. These are pressure vessels. Used outside their design parameters is very dangerous. People have been killed. Don't follow the lead of these future Darwin award winners trying to outdo Stockton Rush. If you want to refill 1 lb'ers get ones that are designed to be refilled. Don't refill these thin aluminum disposable tanks. Be smarter and safer than these tubers. Your life is worth a lot more than a few dollars. The love of money is the root of all evil.

Hi was wondering at the end of your video what is the brand/model of that torch it had a very nice flame.
It's in my amazon link, its a 3 burner torch head. Cheers. My newest channel is Grill Yeah, re-branding
I've seen empty one pound bottles marketed as refillable, and wonder what the difference is. This adapter looks like a great option👍😊

Mr. Heater makes a " Fuel Keg" that is refillable with the special Fuel Keg refill manifold. The Keg is around $20 and the manifold is around $30.
That is a great tip Rob! Do the math oh hell yeah!
Math is something we must retain brother! The world is moving quick!
Where I live a 20 pound tank costs $14 to fill, I thought that was high!
Awesome job Rob.
Thanks brother!
I attach the adapter to the 20lb tank and then turn on the valve “before” I flip the tank over👍
what kind of gloves
Why the tanks have to be one cold and one warm for
