My Dad threw out my (almost) entire collection of vhs 😭 but my mom recently found my some at my grandparents house and brought them to me! I plan on displaying some ❤
I have a 19" VGA monitor hooked up to my VCR and play movies while I am working. It looks and sounds just fine. I was way to harsh on the picture quality back in the day.
@@MoviesAreRad I just like good music. Nothing canned. If I walk in a vinyl store, I'm walking out with a stack of Badfinger, Velvet Underground , Pavement, Husker Du, 60s psychedelic, Zeppelin, Cajun, Buck Owens, Tammy Wynett, Hank III, & Funkadelic if I can find it.✌️
VHS is nostalgic the logo of blockbuster was a VHS tape most people collect them for the sake of childhood and their is some VHS tapes that never got transferred too dvd and some are rare I believe the Panasonic DMR BR670V was a VHS player and Blu ray player all in one that upscales VHS tapes too hdmi it’s very rare Japan got one and US got a release and it also plays HDD dvd which was another rare type of media damn I miss blockbuster I wish it still was around today would have being awesome too show our kids how cool that place was if a video had a cool cover you’d rent it but then realise the movie was bad but as a kid that never bothered us VHS was also harder too damage than modern day disc 💯
I am a huge fan of tmnt my name is Mateo Paez im 13 and i love vhs tapes because they are just exciting i only have tmnt vhs tapes though and i collect tmnt vhs because it's cool and when my sisters are watching something on the tv i can just watch it in my room my mom got me the vhs tapes from people that had it used and she even picked up a vcr for me to which i thank her for my favorite vhs tape that i own is teenage mutant ninja turtles the movie (1990) btw do you have tmnt 1990 ? People like myself never have playing problem's at all with vhs tapes people like myself are cleaning out mode switches in VCR players that starts playing again with out no problem's look it up online how clean out a mode switch in a VCR player
People like myself are buying new vhs tapes off eBay and Amazon for 10 dollars not hard finding like people makes out everything more easy finding on eBay and Amazon now days how hard is that

I was addicted to collecting vhs as a kid in the 90’s. Now as a man in his late 30’s I am addicted to collecting 16mm prints.
I always wanted a 16mm projector and copies of Space: 1999 and Star Trek.
