Thank you for the reaction Alexa. I always loved old Ian and was sad to see him die ,he always had a great relationship with jamie and was very sweet to Claire. Thanks again for the reaction .❤
I LOVE your opening music! Dance Macabre? (one of my all-time favourites since I was a wee girl!) Roger was thinking of "Jeremiah McKenzie" when going through the stones (his son's name but also his father's name). I don't know how much of this storyline they'll put into the show, but it's a very interesting story... it's in the novella "A Leaf in the Wind of All Hallows". Did you just say what I think you said?... that you don't get the Jamie hype. 😯What?! Huh. Well, I still appreciate you anyway! 😉 Thanks for another great review!
I believe they stated at the start of season 7 that it would cover parts of Books 7-9.They are flying through the story. The book spends much more time with "old" Ian.
Back in the northeast section of the USA. Wearing that plaid skirt and that front lace up blouse, we'd say girl you lookin' finer than a new set of snow tires with winter coming. A high compliment indeed.😊
My impression was that Roger was thinking of his father. He didn’t want Jem to grow up without a father. Maybe that drew him to his father, Jeremiah. But @nimwey’s theory is good too.
Wonderful reaction as always ! i wonder, did you know that they plan to make a show about Jamie and Claire's parents called Blood of My Blood ? Since Claire is a time traveler it's likely her parents where aswell !
i havent seen these epis yet, but when i read the book and Ian died i was so freaking mad and cried so much. When i saw people being like "yeeeees we are going back to Scotland" i was to my self like yes, you poor souls, think it's gonna be happy and not a knife to the heart. Not only we appear magically already in Scotland and we dont get to see Jaimie's reaction to seeing Scotland again, Ian freaking dies. Oh poor Roger. I dont know if they would follow exactly the book cause i have a feeling they wont, but the whole in the past part was cool. Specially thinking his dad "died/was lost in combat" because he ended up actually travelling oh yes, Lord John just threw a Brianna on Claire...but like, he is right, it's the only thing he can do or she goes byebye. As usual, he is our knight in shinning armor
I like all the storylines, but I find Roger's quest the most interesting. Wanted way more of that. I get it, they have to milk it across the season, but times like this, I wish Starz released binges.

“The meet cute of Geilis and Dougal” 😂 I’m just happy to see them as well as Laoghaire’s actress back.
I had the exact same reaction when Dougal walked in

Looking forward to getting to this book, then!

Your outfit is too cute! I love that skirt!
Thanks, it's a Forbes Ancient kilt.

This was my favorite episode of this season so far! I really enjoyed and have wanted twice!
What a wonderful intro
Alexa, stay strong Bud.
If it gets put to the vote & wins I hope to see what you think of 'Clue' from 1985.
So sorry, I've seen that one. I watched it to prep for the play when I was covering it as a theater critic.
