I'll pop in here as a book fan slash book reader I won't spoil it but I will say that the Jamie being Ambiguously Shipwrecked is he alive is he alive is actually this whole thing is pretty much straight from the book The only difference is that the impetus for this marriage ends up being because Claire is in Philadelphia with Ferguson Marsale and it's centers around protecting them a little more than the whole thing with John's nephew and that whole side thing but I mean that stuff is involved as well
I hope you having to reupload doesn't mess with the almighty algorithms. I don't believe they are expecting us to believe Jamie is unalive, they are selling Claire och John's grief.
But I mean it's pretty much a straight adaptation there's a little license taken here and there but they really have taken a lot of this straight from the book what's really makes my heart pretty happy as a book fan I know it's hard when you're not in that no from that knowledge to understand why they do some of the stuff that they do
