I've heard it said that Hank was the first true rock n' roll star, in the sense that he developed a strong image, was the first to really gain regional and national exposure through television, and toured extensively. He certainly had a strong influence on the early rock n' roll that followed. My favourite song of his is 'Kawliga'.
That was great! Short and concise. Although I could hear the influence and knew that the C&W artists you mentioned had written some of the songs they covered, you bought it all here in a tight little package (with some interesting unknown facts)! Thanks again!
Of all the different looks you've adopted for your videos this one is my favorite. I really liked the Buddy Holly look, too. Both looks are adorable. I think I like Buck's version of "Act Naturally" just a little bit better than Ringo's because he has so many subtle variations in his vocal style, and he captures the pathos in his voice, which is a hallmark of great country singers. I like Ringo''s too though. That song suits him very well.
John denver would have to be my favourite. Though I do find "country" as a genre to be very pleasing and beautifully evocative. However I am a bit of a "folkie" at heart, and country is not a stones throw away from that sso no real surprise I guess. Check out John Denver chloe I think you'll really like him "Annie's song", "rocky mountain hig" and "sunshine on my shoulder" are among my personal favourites . But I guess he's really known for "country roads" which is a staple of any karaoke night., or "leaving on a jet plane" but there's really many more besides. Thanks for the video

@@CaptainAlsClassroom Thank you so much!
John sang Hey Good Lookin' and Tennessee during the Get Back sessions. They aren't on any official album but I have a bootleg that has them.
