Heya! Actually the Nordic 33 MCU we use in it is the newest one, it's a few years newer than the Nordic 40 series (confusing right? haha!). I'll have our team look into the 4K situation as we've never had any issue with 4K on the mouse, and haven't had others report any. It's a curious situation for sure! Thanks for the review Boardzy!
@@DuckButtGoesKwekKwek that's unusual as it uses optical switches. How hard do you need to slam it? Not sure why there is debounce with optical switches anyway.

i used the v1 for a big amount of time, awesome mouse, even the old one, got a lot of good records on aimlabs and was on radiant on valorant with the V1, that was 80g and 3335 , but its a solid mice from a good compani, thoug the coating on the v1 was bad (gloss and not sticky at all) still was great for a first wireles mice
Funny thing is southeast asia might have the most competetive pricing for mice since "chinese" mice are easily accessible and cheaper compared to pricing in other countries. The 2nd hand mice market in my country is also really good.
The 1K version and the 4K version is being sold for WAY cheaper in the Indonesian market (Fantech's home market). Equivalent to about 38 USD for the 1K and 63 USD for the 4K
it uses nRF52833, while most mice use nRF52840, the only difference i've found is that the ...33 version has less memory and ram and thats most likely used so save macros so you cant really say its worse in any way, my lamzu mouse also had problems with 4khz but were all fixed with update
Hey boardzy, I have small hands and i use a 1 3 1 claw grip what kind of mice would you recommend I kinda dislike razer products bc all of mine fucking break but im willing to give it a try.
I beleive there is some majior inconsistency in the binning of these switches. I have some of these that feel very lightweight and sharp . There are others that sound hallow and feel heavier.

for me rubberized coatings are the slickest. G pro just falls out of my hand when I pick it up. What caoting buzzword should I be looking for in these videos ?
Can we soon have a more categorical Seal of Approval? Like idk, an example of a category is budget mice. They have indeed gotten better nowadays so, I guess it deserves somewhat of its own category. Lets have a dishonorable reward too, maybe to actually get these companies aware. Just like how Razer literally just owned it last year and just fell off with weird and pointless products this year.
In my opinion, it has everything it takes to compete with Lamzu, Pulsar, Ninjutso, etc, except my copy has some creaking issues. If they can sort that out, I believe it's a top mouse, and an instant recommend for anyone wanting a lightweight S2.
One thing I hate about side buttons on mini and ambi mice is that they're just way too small! Whenever I move my finger to press them, they would feel so so so mushy because the meat of my thumb is just resisting any effort to push in. I have soft hands in general so I guess this issue is just me.
Interesting comparison with the side buttons on the GPX .. It's one of the things I don't like about the GPX. I really like TTC mechanical switches and encoders, not so certain of their optical counterparts.
Its a great mouse for the price but not quite as good as other more expensive mice. My copy started creaking and popping in the sides and the clicks don't feel the best.

I find it really cool how responsive the Fantech team is. Def eyeing this mouse.
Yeah. Fantech's communication has been good in recent times. I'm interested in this mouse as well
Ended up buying the mouse and so far quite satisfied. One concern tho: setting debounce time to
@@DuckButtGoesKwekKwek that's unusual as it uses optical switches. How hard do you need to slam it? Not sure why there is debounce with optical switches anyway.
@FantechWorld
i am having the same issue with the 4k hz mode. it sometimes lags out for no reason. latest firmware and all as well.
nice. flipping the mouse in the air, spinning it, drop flopping it out of your hand and death grip. Superior testing 💪
And people say I dont include testing
If Zowie released this mouse, it would cost 160 dollars lmao
At least zowie lowered their prices to 120 💀
Zowie prices accordingly knowing the quality of the clones.
zowie is S tier tho
Doubt zowie would release something of this build quality
@@mikej243Zowie would have to lower their quality to beat this one
Fantech did say they don't have an additional coating, but a textured mold from the start to give that coating feel
Yeah its really weird imo, a coating would be solid even though it adds to cost

it is indeed one of the vlones of all time
Great Video. Do you think there will be any issue with latency on cheap mice like vgn and shark attack etc

Same with the shell mine became super loose and creaking fast

Been waiting for this review. Been thinking about getting it.
Hey Boardzy, do you think Logitech g640 is worth trying in 2024?
Or its better condider other mousepads?
I know its a mouse review but can u maybe add more gameplay maybe with mouse cam would be great ❤
hey boardzy, have you got any recommendations for a mouse with a similar shape to the aerox 3/kana but with a better sensor?
I love the S2 shape, would this be the best option for a light (60ish grams) wireless s2 shape mouse?
I guess so
But Id still recommend waiting for zowie if ur a true s2 user
ZOWIE S2 VLONE?
build quality wise, this helios 2 pro or VGN F1 pro?
Obviously the vgn.
But also shape matters
In the future, could you do a beast x vs finalmouse lion comparison? They seem to have the same shape on eloshapes
Maybe not a video but maybe a question I'll ask when you're live
I have already done this in at least 5 videos
Ermm. Sorry

I dont know early next year hopefully
Why they put side button like that its criminal why they just not copied s2 side button 😭
i put my anlantis on the side of the thumbnail to compare the shape and i thought its a atlantis clone 1/1 with different text

I’m an s1 user, is there anything similar on the market that’s wireless?
Not really. I have a s1 wireless mod currently but haven't seen any lightweight clones
Hats off to Fantech, solid but not really at the top of the food chain. I'd say a pretty good option for someone looking for just a good FPS mouse.
