    Those two actually made me think. If Disney Star Wars had a more chronological structure, i.e. didn't jump around in time so much with each show and movie, wouldn't it be fun seeing one or two Troopers again and again? They wouldn't even always be involved in the main action. We could have seen a Trooper contingent decimated out by the main characters and have an end credit scene where those two get assigned there to replace those losses. Or they recognize someone like Din Djarin because they have seen before what he can do and give each other some blaster scaring on the armor or maybe even injure each other so they can report they engaged him and have been lucky to survive. After all, Bacta heals many wounds.

    • @Dreamfox-df6bg
      @Dreamfox-df6bg 5 місяців тому +3

      @@ethanwoolard9668 Well, the first movie was meant to be self-contained and with the time between the original and the prequel trilogy it would have been difficult to built something like that in.
      For this to work you would need a series of movies and shows that are chronologically closer together.
      Even within the Expanded Universe it would have been difficult to pull off as there was not really an oversight about the stories.
      Considering that the 'Dark Empire' comics were rarely mentioned in other books and in those the New Republic temporarily lost control of Coruscant, something that would have eroded the trust of the people in the New Republic for quite some time.

    I always forget that Stormtroopers (and their variants) are actually the elite special forces, and not the common soldier. They actually do have the best aim and skills among the Empire’s military, they just miss characters in shows and movies for plot reasons.

Plus we’ve got hella hiking and camping and all sorts of outdoors stuff if you’re into that, even if it’s just a casual picnic you drive to and still have cell service, so a little something for everyone regardless of how woodsy. Great place to ride motorcycles, it draws thousands of bikers every year being smack in the middle of the Appalachian mountains

    The whole thing with being zen on a bike is the same feeling I get with longboarding. Get on a long walking trail, pop in some music, and go. Bonus too if it's really hilly since on the way back it's minimal pushing and the trail just takes you. Then you may come across a steep hill or intentionally seek it out and you just commit. You either go full on and zoom down it or you carve it like a wave(which is why I do, I don't wanna die lol), but still going pretty fast and is just a rush. Then when it evens out and is flat again it's just a really calming feeling.

    They (the ones away from the town having an extensive conversation and shooting at random shit to prove how inaccurate the pistols were) were a reference to the old Red vs Blue series "why are we here?". The Argentinian military still uses the Stahlhelm, German uses it for special events, some African countries use it, and many other countries, US included have their own variation of the German Stahlhelm. Plus the Stahlhelm itself is a more modern version of a design from the middle ages.

    Beyond the freedom of riding, there were probably other perks to being in the Scout Trooper Corps. As long as the scout trooper(s) did his/her duties and did not violate them, the position could have the privilege of a wide latitude. The scout trooper could have been the "go to guy" like the supply sergeant who ran a side hustle. Also, as a member of a small team, there were probably greater opportunities for personal glory and (monetary) reward.

    I've said it one if not a hundred times, and it's a well documented fact that storm trooper armor is the best armor accept against - slaps, punches, kicks, sticks, stones, logs, boulders, trees, sling stones, bullets, lazers, side glances and harsh words. Otherwise as far as armor goes it's the bee's knees.
