How to Thin a Wig: Got a wig that’s too dense? Thinning a wig may seem worrisome to do on your own, but it’s actually pretty simple! Watch to see how I thin out my wig if you’re interested in learning how to use thinning shears as an easy way to make your wig less dense. Please keep in mind that there are several ways to thin out a wig...my video just shows you how I prefer to do it, and it's the way that has worked best for me :)

Hi Cara! Thanks! In the video I'm wearing a Milano Ponytail wig, and the wig that I was thinning was a hand-tied mono-top wig from Gardeaux Wigs.
With all respect, this is a helpful video, but the sound quality is AWFUL. I have everything turned up full volume, and can barely hear you. Perhaps you can re-record over the video? But thanks for a useful thinning vid!!
Omg I fell asleep waiting for you to begin….you start 6 mins into the video…you seem sweet but unsure of what you’re doing. Sorry, not a helpful video and I literally wanted to scream “hurry up” as I was starting to nod off
Amazingly, there is a fast forward button on YT! Who would have thought such technology would be possible? 😮 If a video is reviewing things you already know, or going at a slower pace than you like (and this is astonishing, I know!) just fast forward until you get to the section you want to view.
