There are so many little easter eggs and references in this game to real life and fictional events. It's crazy but awesome. Rockstar may treat their employee's like crap but they know their games

Rockstar should make "mysterious" events in Online Mode, where players can individually solve them by following clues and searching for answers by finding NPC's around the map that contain answers....
They can even end these Mysteries with gold, cash, or a high bounty Target!

@@-suiluj- Maybe not "we sure had fun with your sports team Blackwater" verbatim but it was along the lines of "we had fun with your Blackwater boys" or "track team" he didnt say sports team but he said either "Blackwater boys" or "track team". Either way he definitely referenced them and it wasnt an ambiguous statement that could mean anything it definitely meant them. Matter of fact, when he first said it and I first heard it, I didnt even discover or know about the mass grave with the team yet and I still got the impression that he was talking about some sort of sports team.
The Del Lobo gang might be behind the massacre because the Del Lobo are basically a resistance to the US government (due to the tensions between US and Mexico) in the area which is why they might have a reason to do such atrocities against Blackwater. The Del Lobo would also be a good comparison to Colombia's National Liberation Army's ideals and radicalism. They are also both hispanic parties. It's definitely not Skinner who did this because this differs too much from their usual acts. To my mind this massacre is a clear message to US government which is also why I think it was the Del Lobo, no one else would have a reason to do this because the athletics team is not a threat to anyone and no one would gain anything out of this. This is like a straight hit to the spirit of the people of US government, exactly what a Del Lobo would do.

@@scr8846 The Del Lobo has actually worked all over the place over the years. One of their HQ's is in Thieves Landing which is very close to Blackwater and Tall Trees. Mind you that one of their camps was even found up at the Colter. Completely possible.

@@arthurmorgan2906 Yeah.Between Limpany and the brush fire spot next to it I don't know what to make of it. I ran around there for like an hour or two the other day playing detective lol. Trying to recall conversations I've heard with NPC's, looking through all the old newspapers, and documents to come up with anything i could to draw a clue. Nothing. One would think theres GOTTA be a story to it or an explanation. So I don't know...maybe sometimes things in the game are just as simple as they seem. Maybe there is not a mystery or story for EVERYTHING. Maybe it's as simple as a brush fire spread and burnt the town. Or maybe vice/versa. Maybe the town was set ablaze for some reason and the brush fire was the result.

Look for the kerosene barrels. They’re everywhere in the town. They’ve got the guys name on them that Dutch kills in the end. Sorry, I can’t remember. I think he bunt the town down. It was probably going to be a side mission or the like, but got scrapped. Who knows.

I wonder why it's not possible to report these missing bodies to the authorities in Blackwater - you would think that their last known location would be investigated and found easily or that based on your actions you could receive honour for doing this. Or that you could at least find a stranger mission where you could notify the families because it would be interesting to see that interaction take place. I love how detailed this game is. Literally gave me the chills when I stumbled upon it. Great video by the way, I would have never caught the reference to that real life occurrence!

It could also be a reference to the game “The Forest” in the game you’re stranded on a Island with cannibals and monsters, and in one of their camps there is a mass grave filled with tennis players, who’ve been missing since their plane disappeared. The cannibals also make totems with limbs and heads in strange shapes.
The end of that game was so weird.
All I want to say is that this channel has the best content from RDR2 that I have come across. No clickbait, or B.S info. Excellent.
This was solved a couple days ago on reddit which was also uploaded on YT by the same person. I wish i can remember his name so i can give him credit.
The B is also found in the serial killers hideout. If you look at it upside down, its actually an E.L. Edmond Lowry Jr. being his name. If you look at his letter, it shows that he had a bad relationship with his mother. Therefore the bags with makeup to imitate his mothers looks.
I remember finding the eyeless man in the woods once. Creeped my out so much... this game is like an emotional rollercoaster, one time it makes you laugh, others cry

Yeah just imagine how great Gta 6 will be. I will be discovering as much easter eggs and myths that i can find before even continuing the actual story. Oh, there is this other open world game coming out either this year or next year, maybe even in 2023 idk. But anyways it's called Hogwarts Legacy. It's not made by Rockstar but it looks amazing. There is a trailer for it here on youtube. There are rumors going around that it will have more easter eggs then gta 5 and rdr2 combined. I love myth hunting more then actually playing the main story line in games 😅

@@supleksabg1059 yeah it's very disappointing. Unfortunately Gta 6 most likely wont be coming out for years. I honestly would not be surprised if it didn't come out until the ps6 comes out. As for the Hogwarts Legacy game, you are correct about that. Except it's actually delayed until either next year 2022 or 2023. I believe it will come out eventually. At least that's what their website says. We all just have to be patient. And about Gta5, not Gta6, i read that they are coming out with a remastered version of Gta5 instead. It will be updated with newer graphics, and new missions, etc. The remastered version of Gta5 will be coming out either this year or next year.

what i'd really like to know: how were they not skeletonized or scattered about during the 8 years or so since they first went missing? i remember reading the newspaper article about them as arthur. then john finds (most of) their bodies intact? something isn't adding up. were they kidnapped and held hostage for years before being killed? were they murdered and pickled for 8 years? time travel? magic? ufos?
I remember coming across this once, I circled the area and came back about 2 minutes later and all the bodies were in different positions
It just loads it differently depending on direction....at least I hope it's because of that.

The survivor told in an interview that the leader of the people who had the team kidnapped was known as "El payaso" (sorry for my bad english, im from colombia.... btw)

From what I remember, it ain't really anything with a considerable amount of lore behind it. Although, I don't look too deep into these sort of things, so I wouldn't know.
I just wish these side stories were more consistent with the game events. It's kind of frustrating when you are intrigued by a mystery just to find out it was based on some unrelated real life event. I hope there is more clues inside the game regarding this case.

Strange man, During the "American Dreams" Side mission, if you look around the serial killers basement, you can see the same type of "B" made out of 1 leg and 2 arms, so my guess is that Edward Laurie Jr did it.

I always just assumed it was Edmund Lowry Jr (Serial Killer in the "American Dreams" stranger mission line). I literally have no evidence or such to suggest why, obviously except that he is an established violent and psychotic serial killer, but it just sorta happened in my mind for some reason. Maybe he was in Blackwater years ago and the team were one of his many victims. He's clearly been killing for years, but only started to leave clues for people around the events of the game.
