Chartreux are wonderful companions. I adopted a stray. She is incredibly loyal, very very intelligent, lots of personality. Learns quickly (like not to scratch certain furniture) A bit antisocial, will only cuddle on her terms, and has a short fuse, but otherwise she's one of the best cats I ever had.

My family has a chartreux mix(at least we believe we do) he's white and grey (mostly grey). But, he's fills almost all of the qualifications for being a chartreux. We got him as a rescue and his name is Felix. :)

In my house my cat which is gray but we don't know which type of cat so he maybe is Chartreux is considered a national hero because he was sleeping every night on my legs when I had health issues...So he is immortal in my house alongside my dog...He is considered more important than all 27 girls I was in love with...

Acccccctually....... The cartreux was not bred as a ratter but as for their blue pelt. Back then people bred rather cats than minks for their fur.

I have a little cute blue boy 🐱 he is playful but he can bite until you see your own blood squirting out and it hurts it's not fun getting bit by cat but I love cats
