I actually believe that Russian blue cats are originated from Korat cat because King Chulalongkorn of Siam was a good friend to czar Nicholas I of Russia and their royal families had close friendships. Both cats have short hairs which are unlikely belonging to a cold country. Moreover the Russian blues became world-widely known just lately after czar Nicholas I's reign.
You gonna make me cry. Smoky was my mom's Charteux. He was my Korat's half-brother (the other half of both was Russian Blue). Smoky died in my arms 4 1/2 years ago.
Watching this debating getting 1 or 2 at this moment. Someone local has 3 month old kittens 2 boys/ 2 girls. Never had a cat and currently have a 14 year old min Schnauzer which I’d have acclimate to cats
@@dba4292 Got 1 & he’s freakin amazingly playful & follows ya all over. Such a terrific disposition. Seems very intelligent! Always trying to interact with everyone including the dog! Shows so much love all the time. Rubs up on the dog & greets everyone when the come around him

My two-year-old Korat can lay on a black shirt without leaving any hairs on it! (Well, maybe like 1 or 2 hairs at most)

My Korat/Blue Russian mix loved her boxes. Brittney was 20 years old 5 weeks shy of her 21st Bday. I miss her so very much

You may have to look up Korat Kattery or Breeders. Korats are very special.
Mine doesn’t have papers..and I even thought she was Russian Blue, at first, but I found her at animal control in Oklahoma. Just check keep looking.
