When Pravus started this series, it REALLY looked like a Civ clone I wanted to buy, but the last few episodes, seeing the user interface problems and the frustration with how wars are conducted, I'm starting to be glad I waited (Still a fun series to watch, though).
i don't understand what happened with the Aztec/Poles and why they quickly started hating him ... what happened? what did he do? what is the hero badge business all about?
He pretty much did what the germans did to Poland in ww2, as a result they want to murder him to be the good guys and to get to right to brag about how they saved the world.
they are useless depending on the era and the tech...if you have stone walls or even stronger walls I guess Battering rams arent very effective, right?
I don't know if battering rams are overall useless, but they are out-classed in your current situation. Judging by their stats and the fact that they are an Ancient era unit, they seem to be supposed to be used against Fences and and Levies (Ancient), or at most against Palisades and Citizens (Classical). You are using them against Draftees (Early Modern). That's a 3 era difference, even if they are just behind palisades.
Pretty sure the Hero Badge you get when you beat a Traitor I guess this is to actually punish backstabbers if they cant back it up Also, Myu is vindictive so she will always dislike you now unless she is extremely weakened
Regarding War Score: The more you win, the more score you get, if you wanna get stuff, try to win as many battles as possible, even them retreating generates score
its a fun though u need to know some info bout this the winged hussars if the poles wared with will be pain in the ass evident from stealth17gaming worldwar 1 and his continous war with poles also have gud navy if ur fiting overseas war example with english as stealth foundout to his horror his mainland was continously invade d byy poles with winged hussars also he started as babalons and wenyt with almost science strat he had somewhat gud industry but kundnt make units fast so yes u kud actually learn some stuff from his vids since the scenario was kinda same for him e\xcept he destroyered myceneans as it was his first war but then he learned they had another base in north then he fully destroyed em and controlled a full continent so yeah

FYI you have an open border treaty with the poles. You can move armies trough their territories, and between your separeted cities.
A couple episodes back he did and they unilaterally revoked their open borders

Tip in case: Hamlets are useful for archipelago territories
How so? I tend to kinda ignore the Hamlet's sometimes because I'm not entirely sure what they're good for?

He declared a surprise war. Basically turns you into a pariah. The AI hate him now and are motivated to attack him to earn a bonus.
