Recipe:
2 ½ cup quick cooking oats
1 cup unsweetened coconut + 1 cup for rolling
1 ⅓ cup sugar
½ cup evaporated milk
½ cup salted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup cocoa powder
1. Add the sugar, cocoa powder and butter to a pot.
2. Turn the heat to medium to melt the butter, continue to stir until you get one smooth mixture.
3. Add the milk and vanilla, then bring the mixture to a boil and cook for one minute,
4. Add the oats and coconut and stir until combined, cook the mixture for a minute.
5. Turn off the heat and leave the snowball mixture in the pot to cool,
6. Once the mixture has cooled enough to handle, scoop out snowballs with a cookie scoop, roll into a ball and immediately dip the snowball into finely shredded unsweetened coconut. You can eat these right away or store them in the fridge or freezer.

My childhood favorite.
Best recipe! I double it
Excellent
They look so good. Similar to chocolate no bake cookies we make but never had them with coconut. Definitely trying them because we love coconut!
I’m on a diet right now and my mouth is watering. This looks so damn delicious
My favourite
hey i was trying out this recipe and my snowballs barely stuck together when i tried was trynna make it into a ball as well as covering it in the coconut flakes it wouldn’t stick, any tips/advice? (I let it sit and cool down for about 6mins was that too much? Or do I need to add more of the evaporated milk? Thankyou!)
Hi! I'm wondering if you cooked it too long? The mixture can get too stiff this way. Once rolled into balls you can always dip into water then the coconut, that should help
@@SamAndFengCooking yeah i found out that part of the problem was that i used the regular coconut flakes and not the fine shredded ones so i just threw em in a magic bullet and worked perfectly fine thanks for the quick reply! :D
