I remember when I heard the chant version for the first time I thought it was meant to be the Gorons praying voices or just a chant that praise Volvagia and it also sound a bit like they're saying "We all hail, We all hail, We all hail, We all hail, Volvagia"
The first time i played the fire temple i always thought the chanting came from those smiling statues. I played the 3ds version and heard the edited version, and i kinda got creeped out cuz i hated the shadow temple with a burning passion. So i thought bongo-bongo was coming to get me even thought i havent even got to the shadow temple yet!
@@Fragmentsinfractals488 you missed out as a child I had the first made cartridges and was fascinated by the chants . Still love the chants to this day
@@Str8Rippin93 No, I had the one with the chants. I didn't know they got rid of the Muslim prayer or the moon star on the Mirror shield until I was much older. 1.00 version is the first version.
@@Fragmentsinfractals488 oh ok I misunderstood. I'm glad I had the first copy's of the game. The update music is ok but not nowhere as good as the chants
superbly well done with capturing the original sound while updating the quality. gave me chills listening to it for the first time in over 20 years. my friend had the 1.0 version of the n64 cartridge and when we both played it we loved this version and the dungeon overall. It was this dungeon and the forest temple that made me want to get this game and when i did it had the updated song which did not have any where as much power as the original in my opinion and with listening to your version it brought back that awe, wonder and mystery that i had with my friend when we were trying to explore this dungeon.
Looks like its composer at Midway managed to make the tune sound cool, whereas Nintendo backed out immediately once they found out it's an Islamic prayer. And btw, they didn't approve religious stuff in their games at the time so…with PAL 1.0, they replaced the chanting with two samples used for the Shadow Temple & Bottom of the Well.
To be fair, Cruisin' World was developed by Midway and came out in 96. OoT was developed in house and released two years later in 98. The reason why its in that game is because Nintendo only published the game and their own rules are for games they develop, not third party developers. Yeah things have to be cleaned up like no obvious death references. Also the Egypt level in Cruisin' World has a minor part of the sample which is hard to hear clearly.
@@fghdkjlfkghfc yeah, that works too, however, it just doesn't have the same feel, so what I would do, is like muffle the sound enough just so you can understand the sounds, but still be okay with the Muslim communities.
Nintendo changed it because it violated one of their guidelines of no religious symbolism in their games so they changed it to a remix of the shadow temple
@@SuperYtc1 The change came right before the game came out and they didn’t have time to update the oldest copies, the change wasn’t because of audience backlash(which is what I assume is meant by spoiled brats), but because the chant broke Nintendo’s guidelines about having references to real world religions in their games
Im very happy I had the version of the game with the chants, I really love it
I can _feel_ the heat coming off of this one

this is a fantastic recreation! Brought back some good memories of OOT.
great hommage to the original intends of the temple soundtrack
Thank you very much, Vincent! 🎵
I actually got the 1.00 version of the game, so I didn't know they censored it until much later. Good job.

This is so awesome! Best version made of the fire temple.
I'm making a ambience based of fire temple subject.
this is awesome, I really typed in "fire temple original remade" in hopes that someone remade this track.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it a lot!

This is incredible work.
Thank you very much 🌟
Radicalized future!!!
Heh. The came into my head When I was in the Fire Temple Of Tears Of the Kingdom
In spanish i always thought it was saying
"MEDULA!! MEDULA!! OSTIA!!"
It would be cool if there was a way to put this or the original woth chant theme into the 3ds
Well done.
"This removed version was not allowed due to religious chant"
Also nintendo
*crusin n the world Egypt has the same chant but was allowed*

fit for the 3ds remake
❤️❤️
I hope if ocarina of time comes to switch that they will use this version not the other crappy one lol
I hope so too
I hope they make a sort of "compromise version," where there is chanting, but it's altered from the original.
@@fghdkjlfkghfc oh yeah that is a very good idea
@@zabestinzawest5349 Maybe replace the Islamic chanting praising Allah with Hylian chanting begging for mercy from Volvagia.

It was so stupid of Nintendo to cut the chanting out of later releases.
And to turn the blood green I think pukeing is wrose imo
My version of the game has changed the original song to the edited music. Sad.
Your game changed? Wtf bro
Where can we get the high quality file? I really hate UA-cam 128kbps :(
Where can I download/buy this track?
just google UA-cam videos to mp3.
Find a site or chrome plugin.
To leave the exact chants from the same sound bank is bold or fool... now that we know they are islamic prayers... Besides that huge caveat good job

This version is so much better than the WOKE version..
