time to inspect the hives and see if one of them has queen cells. at least you have a queen to combine if you need to. I ordered sweet yellow and crimson clover to plant. yep time to clean up the fields.
Iv'e got arrow leaf but everybody says that the bees can't reach the nectar . The sweet yellow is supposed to be the best for the bees cause the nectar is thicker so less drying down.
Arrow is for feeding the deer here. I’m not sure about its value to honey bees. I know they tear up the crimson clover though. Yellow sweet is great to help soil with the tap root and later adding organic matter to the soil and I’ve always heard bees like it :-)

OkieRob thanks! I have crimson and arrow leaf clovers and daikon radish going in. I haven’t gotten sweat yellow yet though. Next year though!

This one died out kind of quick. Kind of like an ancient Egyptian tomb, the queen surrounded by her peeps.
