Awesome. Just a pleasure to watch and experience. Thx David. Myself, I've stood in the middle of several swarms. It is an experience, even for the hard of hearing, of which i'm one. (Perhaps because of one two many Led Zeppelin/ Rolling Stones concerts). Don't hesitate to keep the videos rolling....
Nice catch. Sure pray they are good girls. I have a question please. I am in south GA and I have lost 2 hives to larvae. Not sure if they are hive beetles or wax moth larvae. Any advice how to tell the difference. Our hives are in the shade which I know is a problem which we will be correcting before winter is over. Any suggestions will be helpful. Blessings to all. Bee sweet.
The beetles take over a weak hive. I've been eager to add honey supers, and in the process, gave the beetles enough room to establish themselves. Patience is the fix. Just because I was standing there with the super and said "bugger it", it cost me the colony.
This happened to me in Florida. But it wasn't a swarm. The queen absconded due to bull ants. I had to set her up in a new box and get the DE out for the lost hive.
I got a package bees back in May and about 2 months later I couldn't find the Queen or no eggs or nothing so then I bought a new Queen and the same thing I put it in there and about 2 months later I couldn't find no eggs or nothing and I can't find the Queen and I would like to know what's going on
Good girls!!!
Nice job David.
Good Job!
Nice
i wish i could order about 3 more queens from you all right now. i have 1 queenless hive and 2 that need requeening.
Put Queen excluder on entrance. Maybe you had a queen you missed.
Sweet!💗
Nice David. Hope they grow fast. Fall has arrived and we know what's next. I won't say it aloud.. 😂😆
Have a great holiday weekend.

I guess a Queenless hive always accepts a queen and the bees that come with the queen accept the bees in the queenless hive?
It's a pheromone thing. If the queenless has no smell on them, there's no reason for anyone to fight.
hi..I'm beekeeper from Greece and I have Chanel in youtube
You're a content creator.
Everyone here on UA-cam has a channel. Some don't use it the way it was meant. But that's okay, too. I was once camera shy.
