@@CanobieCoaster the variation is peculiar. Now I'll always make a mental note to check the water quality when visiting. I wonder if it has anything to do with the clarity of the Minnesota river nearby.
So is Northern Lights a coaster? I didn't think those were, but I'm seeing them listed on coaster-count. I think the holding brake on Steel Venom is a cool feature, but the downside is that it takes away the sustained airtime you would otherwise get in the back row. On the ones without the holding brake, in the back row, I've counted roughly 5 seconds or so of sustained floater airtime, which begins before the end of the ascent, and can only continue if it doesn't do the hold. It's nice that Valleyfair's is different, but I'm not sure if I actually like it more. It is my 3rd favorite at the park behind Excalibur and of course Renegade at the top.
I interviewed with Zamperla coming out of college. The engineer there said the disko and skater coasters coast over the bunny hill and are powered/launched on the valleys.
How would you compare Renegade at Valleyfair to: Bandit at Movie Park Germany Boss at Six Flags St. Louis Hurler at Carowinds Roar at Six Flags America Hell Cat at Clementon Park in terms of seat padding?

The Swing closest to Power tower went down for majority of the 2006 season because it blew a hole in the piston chamber. Both rides will also loose the ability to stop if they loose power or are E stopped. This is because it uses the compressed air to stop it self. With out power the ride just goes into free swing. I can take 30+ Minutes for it to stop if lost power at max swing. - How i know.. I ran the ride opening year. And yes. I still go on it. Corkscrew is my favorite.
Hot take!
Corkscrew at Valleyfair kind of looks like Cedar Points
Sort of!
WoW
Good park!
I love all of these rides but Delirious is the only one I hate because I lost my shoe so they had to stop the ride.
Oh no!
I was there yesterday. My stomach can’t handle the rides but I did them anyway😅. Was sick rest of day but with parking and locker prices, I wanted my moneys worth!
Oh no!
Damn that rapid looks soaking
It is!
Loved valleyfai but for some reason I literally almost broke my neck on highroller.
I found it reasonably smooth.
@@CanobieCoaster It was prob bc I leaned my head back too much and when the ride jostled a bit it caused my head to snap backwards. Otherwise yeah it was pretty smooth.
Valleyfair Is Like Cedar Points Brother
Little brother
I meant highroller
It's a classic.
Steel Venom has been closed for awhile :(
Oh no!
My daughter has been on that one before
Nice!
Wild Thing should be #1... Renegade is so jerky, it gives you whiplash!!
I didn't find it too rough.
I Agree
Its too bad that renegade, excalibur, and thunder canyon are closed due to the flooding.
They should reopen soon.
@CanobieCoaster they're open but those rides will take a while to clean up and prepare again.
theyre open now
@@handleasdasdasd yeah
Don’t ride the Excalibur. You will risk damaging your neck/spine.
I find it tolerable.
@@CanobieCoaster Really? Every time I ride it I worry about my neck however I can and will never ride that due to my neck injury. I have Osteoarthritis in my Neck and Spine which causes Chronic Muscle Spasms to put my spine causing inflammation build-up in which I am temporarily immobilized.
When I realize i was just there yesterday
Nice!
Valley fair will not be getting a new roller coaster in 2025 but hey it least the ended their coaster line up with one of GCI best coasters
I hope a new coaster comes soon.
When i went to nickelodeon i was a young enthusiastis so i forgot about Valley fair
It's worth revisiting.
Steel venom gang
Fun ride!
Ain’t no way extreme swing number 11 it better than mad mouse
I wish it had a better cycle.
ok
Enjoy!
Mad mouse over extreme swing is a violation
I wish Xtreme Swing had a longer cycle.
i went there 1 day ogow
Nice!
Rip renegade bro💀
What about it?
I dont know why but imma huge bad park fan idk why lol
This is a solid park.
@@CanobieCoaster ye ive heard its at the bottom of cedar fairs parks
The security is a big issue tho 😬
The lines?
My aunt went on power tpwer while she was pregnant
Oh no!
She’s okay her son is now 17
wild thing is first renegade is second
I much prefer Renegade, but to each their own.
The water on that raft ride… looks so nasty
It smelled bad.
Switch Steel venom and Wild thing!
Both are good.
