@@pxpcornari5120 if you decide to go on maybe go in the middle to feel safer I'm also scared of flying off but I'm going there with my school on June 2nd so I'll go on it with my friends to see how it is!
My Top 5 Power tower blue : going to ride soon 5: Wheel of fortune not mentioned but still fun bc u go backwards! 4: Northern lights great air time when sitting on ends 3: Delirious great hang time but i still agree its repetitive 2: Extreme swing great view of midway when backwards 1: power tower red bc when your at the top the view and waiting to drop!
Water canons at Thunder Canyon are now gone. I recall years ago standing at those canons. There was kid at one of them that had a ziplock of coins and was just feeding them into the canon and spraying everyone that went by. Asked him if he was waiting to spray someone in particular. He said he just enjoyed the spray canons more than the ride.
Love this list! Personally I would put the Xtreme Swing at #1, and I would put the Power Tower way down lower on the list. My home park is CGA with the Drop Tower, which is 224 ft Intamin drop tower, and the drop feels waaaaaay longer and way more forceful. The drops on the Power Towers just feel very mild and slow in comparison.
Awesome video, looks like a great park, also what are the chances you would be able to go to adventureland this year? I ask as ill be there on july 20th and idk if valleyfair will open
I think there might be a slight possibility that I'll be at Adventureland on July 20th. I'll definitely try to make it down on that day because a meet up would be cool!
Looking at their flat ride collection, Valleyfair is kinda like the Six Flags park of the Cedar Fair chain. But I guess that makes since because Six Flags is cheap, and Cedar Fair is at least cheap with Valleyfair.
Yeah it's really interesting. They have some Six Flags rides but it still feels like a Cedar Fair park. Weird how that is because VF was the 2nd Cedar Fair park
Wait a minute, the *old* Northern Lights was the flat ride on a platform that swung sideways on a pendulum... is that one gone??? There was a version of that same ride at MOA, but never knew the name. If this ride is completely gone, I'll be sad! I loved that one and the Enterprise the most (as far as flat rides). Enterprise was so unique. I loved the seating style on it. You could straddle your favorite person! No other ride I've seen has that ability AND be fun as heck.
It should be "Non coaster rides" Since rapids rides aren't really "Flats" But still great video, VF fanboys are certainly an undeserved market in the coaster community EDIT: Superkat is also fun, that ride type is underrated!
Looping Starship was one of my favorites! The painful restraints kind of added to the charm of the ride. It was fun to watch everyone collectively wince while our thighs got squashed like pancakes
My favorite ride there, that isn't a roller coaster, is North Flyer. Some of my other favorites include Power Tower, Xtreme Swing, Bumper Cars Tilter, Scrambler, Antique Autos, Thunder Canyon, and the former Log Flume ride.
Delirious is not a roller coaster, it’s close, but it uses powered rails pretty much 100% of the ride. Valleyfair also doesn’t consider Delirious a coaster.
I love northern lights, the wave, and the monster. My cousins and I had a blast in them.
That wave was awesome but it was a terrible ride home
Im not a big fan of the monster but the wave and northern lights i like
Northern lights are fun at the end I would never start on it
I wanted to go on the northern lights but I was scared it would fly off I really wish I would have went on

I love that the pirate ship was on there cause they recently removed it :(

I hated it because you would hang up side down for a long time
@@lynnamparo3633 the worse part of it would be when people would spit in hopes to hit somebody on the way up 🤮
I got stuck on it once
1:42 (I couldn't find any decent footage of the VF model so I used Canada's Wonderland's model. Still same ride tho)
0:56 (I meant ride, not coaster😂)
This place is now used for a storage next to High Roller.
5 days ago we just met vallyfair my first time there yay
Power tower is my favorite ride by far but every time I go they only operate one red one when they built two and the line is outrageous
3:10 I love that you added that clip in. Little Big League is one of my favorite movies!
if at some point they feel like adding an rmc to make this a destination park i would be totally cool with that
it's been 16 years since renegade... i'm just saying

I like most of the flat rides at valley fair but monster I love that one it was fun for me when I went on it with my dad
great video! honestly, valleyfair looks to have one of the better flat ride collections in the cedar fair chain
On the Wave when you hit the water you feel soaked but then you hit the water that went up and out and you feel triple as soaked
Personally, I’m not as much of a flat ride person, but they are a ton of fun! Especially drop towers and giga discoveries
Great video! 👍👍👍
I was actually at Valleyfair for the first time today and went on Thunder Canyon and Wave! We can all admit the Wave really lives up to its name XD
Also for me personally, I would consider Pipe Scream a coaster just bc part of it uses gravity, but I definitely respect your opinion
Rip Looping Starship. TBH I haven’t ridden many flat rides but I hope to this summer.
Xtreme Swing is way more fun than it looks. I'd put it at number two over all behind Renegade. Great list!
North coaster❤
My fav rides are mad mouse, steel venom and power tower!!
Great Video!!! Ive never ridden a super loop but I dont think im missing much...
Lol yeah😂 They're ok

The looping starship didn’t close due to maintenance issues it closed because barely anyone was riding it

Yes, I loved that ride.
Delirious is from 2018? Looks like something from a traveling carnival
I have gone on the wave but I was completely dry
Antique cars so underrated!

I've unfortunately never have been on Superkat😭
@@northstarcoasters Check it out, it's a fun ride with some laterals and airtime even!
Is this in Minnosta?
Yup
I went at night to Northern Lights and there was no line, but after there was.
Why did they remove the pirate ship?
Low ridership and maintenance issues
I’ve been on every ride at valley fair it least 20 times
Red tower > Blue Tower.

Sadly, the 9th best flat at Valleyfair is the best at Michigan's Adventure.
My list:
5: Wheel Of Fortune
4: Northern lights
3 delirious
2: north star
1: both red and blue power tower both are my favorites
I love thunder canyon... BUT ITS NEVER OPEN!!! ITS ALWAYS CLOSED!!!
When ur home cedar fair park has a super loop, u know u have a problem #sixflagstakesovertheworld

Valleyfair is turning into a six flags park

My dad owns valley fair imma tell him the complaints to see if they help
Sure he does
Yea sure I totally believe you
Lol my dads friend does😂
Sorry
Well it Actually the guy that originally made valleyfair and then sold it to cedar fair but the guy is friends with the guy who made cedar fair
You forgot tilter and wheel of fortune
