Definitely extremely over exaggerated as I’ve been to sea world more than I can count. The rides are extremely safe, and everything was welll more than worth it.
Yeah, it’s less dangerous getting a snack from a vending machine, and FAR less dangerous than having a bath or shower. Riding roller coasters is one of the safest things you can do.

As a coaster enthusiast this is painful to watch.. If a coaster restraint becomes undone there will be so many safety protocols, there are pins inside a restraint system which allow it to stay down, there are also seatbelts attached to the restraint as extra safety, so there is nothing to worry about! :D

From an “enthusiast” of rollercoasters, I just wanted to clarify some things. (Numbers correspond to which ride they rode) #1: Seatbelts are completely unnecessary for safety on a rollercoaster. The restrain system on all rollercoasters have multiple fail-safes and will never fail if the restrain is properly set against the rider. #2: Different rides have different rider “capacities”. Since this ride is more geared towards families, the overall range of body types that can fit within the restraint’s safe operational zone is usually limited. (5’8” and 250lbs is actually a quite wide body type) But, if the ride op called him “too fat”, then that would be rude. Secondly, for the father and his kid, you should know your son’s limits. Mako is a family ride, and your son passing out during the ride isn’t the parks fault. #3: understandable. Mack water coasters aren’t very good.
Maverick114 E JTA is a fine ride. Has a rattle throughout, and the drop w/ splashdown isn’t great. He also said that he doesn’t like rollercoasters, so his opinion of a tame ride like that will be more positive than say a ride like Maverick. It’s all subjective tho
Same I am a enthusiast and I was cringing the whole time. If GP to enthusiast sill did his GP video reviews this would be a great contender. But anyway not everyone wants to be an enthusiast 🤷♂️

The buckle coming undone doesn’t effect you safety at all. In fact, it’s mostly just there so rider feel safer. The harness is what is keeping you safe.
it's actually a fail-safe to prevent the restraint from coming up, just incase the ratchets fail. It's what happened to that kid who died on a drop tower in florida
The seatbelt coming undone literally isn’t a big deal though. The lapbar has two ratcheting systems meaning both would have to fail, one failing already being extremely rare.
Okay so I kinda understand what you're saying but like if you only have one seat belt imagine how scary that is that's happened to me before because I was at Frontier City in OKC
"Oh no, I'm not prepared, it's so cold" "OOOOHHHH, that view though, it's so nice!!!!!" "OH, NO, NO, NO, NOOOOOO!!!!" That part was just HILARIOUS!!!!!!!
It’s a feeling of uncertainty if you want a solution then when you are about to drop in a ride blow out all the air and hold your breath you will not feel a thing and hopefully enjoy the ride
Okay, let me clear up the first review. The ride "Electric Eel" is a Sky Rocket II manufactured by Premier Rides. What they most likely meant by the buckle coming loose is the shoulder padding. That is a review from a non-coaster enthusiast. If you look at other clones of the ride spread across many parks, some Sky Rocket II's like Superman: Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, do not have the shoulder padding. In fact, most thrill seekers and coaster enthusiasts prefer the Sky Rocket II's in which do not have the shoulder vest. Even if the padding came loose, you would still be able to clear the ride without any injuries. This is why the employees did not seem like it was a problem.
FINALLY SOMEONES SAYING IT!! ive ridden superman at six flags discovery kingdom and not one bit feels unsafe, the fact that electric eel had shoulder pads was a bit extra. those shoulder pads were made just to make the ride feel safer, so even if the shoulder pads come unbuckled, you would be find as long as there is a lap-bar (which obviously theres gonna be a lap-bar)
@@yolekz I think the comfort collars are there because it's a redundant safety measure and the other option would be seatbelts. Obviously comfort collars are preferred to seatbelts for operational reasons.
Tl Nguyen most of the people that cry on roller coasters are kids though. If you don’t cry, then great. You’re braver than a lot of kids. You don’t have to get offended.
Hayden Uhlenhake True. Ratchet restraints have multiple pins, in the extremely rare chance even one of them breaks. Also, you sometimes have a seatbelt alongside the ratchet, or hydraulic restraint.
1:01 the restraint was probably over the shoulder restraints. They tend to pull forward away from you creating more space. This can feel scary but is completely safe
No seriously a lot of rollercoasters are safer than cars just a shirt load of fear mongering honestly think about how many lawsuits there would be if rollercoasters weren’t that safe...since your traveling SUPER fast if it wasn’t safe of course roller coasters would be illegal, also if there is accidents it’s at places that don’t treat there attractions correctly and or 3rd hand attractions (not the same safety technology as per say Disney) But...this is fudging sea world I live in Orlando there are tourist traps EVERYWHERE but sea world is VERY popular I wouldn’t be shocked if they get the 3rd most busts a year underneath Disney and universal, if they weren’t safe and up to code they wouldn’t be that popular -^-
Also if you still don’t believe me check this other dude out that debunks common fears with rollercoasters his name is: GP To Enthusiast I recommend the final destination video
Alright, so I just saw this come up after the last video I watched so, here we go. I'm a roller coaster enthusiast, and I'm going to be putting out my thoughts on this video. For ride comment, those seat belt things are just an extra precaution, the only thing that truly matters is the over the shoulders restraint or the lap bar, it doesn't matter which, both work fine for inverting and non inverting rides. And if this happens, relax. Final Destination, is a terrible example of this. The stuff in the movies are insanely exaggerated. And don't be scared. The rides are designed with countless safety precautions, and sensors. You're safer on a roller coaster, than in your car, or walking around the amusement park it's self.

I don’t think I saw that part
I love faZe Rug and Noah
Anyone else start to feel that feeling in their stomach when riding rollercoasters... Yeah same
It’s a feeling of uncertainty if you want a solution then when you are about to drop in a ride blow out all the air and hold your breath you will not feel a thing and hopefully enjoy the ride
@@dxrk7867 Mmm, thank you I'll try that next time but not going to lie, sometimes I enjoy that little uncertainty
Connor Taylor no those roller coasters are small compared to the ones I went to at bush gardens
No

Rug: “AHHHHHH”
Rug 1 minute later: _sees fans_ “ what’s up guys” 🤣
They should try the roller coasters at Universal like the Velocicoaster.
I went yesterday it was so scary
Universal is perfectly fine nothing wrong with it
Went there a week ago and road it several times
That was fun
I agree after riding velocicoaster i was shaking but great ride
Just note: what happened in final destination 3 is not possible, roller coaster restraints won’t come loose or lift up mid- ride.
"Bro i was not expecting th- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"- FaZe Rug 2020.
@@yolekz I've ridden phobia at lake compounce, another skyrocket without the shoulders. I'm still safe and feeling safe without them.
@@yolekz I think the comfort collars are there because it's a redundant safety measure and the other option would be seatbelts. Obviously comfort collars are preferred to seatbelts for operational reasons.

“Omg I saw three kids coming off the roller coaster crying 😱”.
Yeah dude, they’re kids.
Yeah The complicatedness of the turnes and drops is to much for there insignificant little brains
Omg
Waterlily the raptor i’m 14 and i would be crying💀
Uhm, so you’re assuming that like, all kids will cry? I’m a kid and I’ve been there on that ride and I didn’t cry at all.
Tl Nguyen most of the people that cry on roller coasters are kids though. If you don’t cry, then great. You’re braver than a lot of kids. You don’t have to get offended.
Rollercoaster going 2 miles per hour: Rug holly crap:
@Used name 000 house
Ya ik right I've been on roller coaster that go almost 70 mph
Used name 000 what neighboorhood
Yes, it’s 2 miles per house and NOT 2 miles per hour
Adam chill Adam a mistake
The best reviewed water one gives me that splash mountain vibes
The seatbelt thing isn’t a big deal. Every train has compressed air tanks to keep the restraint down, and two more if one fails.
Hayden Uhlenhake
True. Ratchet restraints have multiple pins, in the extremely rare chance even one of them breaks. Also, you sometimes have a seatbelt alongside the ratchet, or hydraulic restraint.
These guys are wimpier than I thought

Skyrocket IIs are pretty legit, though. Tigris at Busch Gardens Tampa is a lot of fun.
He needs to go on expedition Everest that was pretty scary for me when I first went on it
thaat was the cutest thing ever when all the little kids hugged him😭💕 n he didnt even care n was soo chill
1:01 the restraint was probably over the shoulder restraints. They tend to pull forward away from you creating more space. This can feel scary but is completely safe

faze: *go’s to a popular theme park roller coaster that is safer then a car*
Also faze: NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY BRUH
Bored Fox safer than a car?? Sure....
No seriously a lot of rollercoasters are safer than cars just a shirt load of fear mongering honestly think about how many lawsuits there would be if rollercoasters weren’t that safe...since your traveling SUPER fast if it wasn’t safe of course roller coasters would be illegal, also if there is accidents it’s at places that don’t treat there attractions correctly and or 3rd hand attractions (not the same safety technology as per say Disney)
But...this is fudging sea world I live in Orlando there are tourist traps EVERYWHERE but sea world is VERY popular I wouldn’t be shocked if they get the 3rd most busts a year underneath Disney and universal, if they weren’t safe and up to code they wouldn’t be that popular -^-
Also if you still don’t believe me check this other dude out that debunks common fears with rollercoasters his name is: GP To Enthusiast

Thank you
thanks
bro those kids should become life support
“I don’t support sea world” except financially and through advertising
First Last don’t worry Sea World are gradually phasing out the animals and replacing them with rides
