When I was skeptical about giving him my SS number, he gave me the "I'm a minister" crap. With that, I told him that it doesn't matter if he is a minister because ministers lie. He got belligerent, I told him that it's pronounced "LORD" not "LARD" and hung up on him.

They literally can't help but leak such joy of the circumstances a victim has . This sometimes annoys me when scambaiters give a high amount because I believe it helps the scammers mentally in thinking all people in America/ Europe are rich and can afford to lose a few thousand pounds or dollars and this is just not the case uf you get what I'm saying. I have offered to give scammers my numbers when they arrive with my prize. They always decline. I then increase my offer since they've already told me they're in the area. I offer to come to them to make it easier for them. Of course they refuse. I had one scammer say they didn't want me to them because they didn't want me to rob them. I asked why I would rob them of my own prize. I didn't get an answer to that, and they shortly thereafter hung up. Total call was 2 hours.

I have offered to give scammers my numbers when they arrive with my prize. They always decline. I then increase my offer since they've already told me they're in the area. I offer to come to them to make it easier for them. Of course they refuse. I had one scammer say they didn't want me to them because they didn't want me to rob them. I asked why I would rob them of my own prize. I didn't get an answer to that, and they shortly thereafter hung up. Total call was 2 hours.

It's possible, but when trying to sound American, many of the scammers sound very similar. There are many, many of these scammers in Jamaica.

My mom got a fake PCH call .The scammers made up a fake US postal inspector's name claiming that the USPS certified the prize.
I hope she knew it was a scam and didn't lose any money.
