I know this is a joke but i just wanna say that when people in hospitals say that they don’t have much time they’re talking about days or months and when they’re laying in the hospital all day they’re bored af and then they have all the time they need.
People have been pulling "poor health" scams for centuries, it's one of the most common types of scams. Lots of beggars still do that on the streets everyday, pretending to be in very poor health and homeless, and then they go home to nice houses and cars.
Guess "cancer of the breast" could be a melanoma or something that happens to be on a breast while "breast cancer" tends to be connected to certain genes. Either way if you're trying to scam someone it's a very weird choice of words and most likely stems from their poor grasp of English 🤷♀️

@@alexc8253 this isn’t necessarily true. Money mules can sometimes be in on the scam, but sometimes they think they are doing something innocent and are not getting any of the cut at all. This type of thinking is even more dangerous because it prevents victims from learning about this type of scam. Many times, money mules are victims of a job scam.

I'm a retired fraud investigator. These videos (almost) make me regret retiring. I see things that always put me on high alert, like a "lawyer" referring to a "client" as "Mrs First-name". I get calls that my phone identifies as coming from "abroad", but still shows as originating from a UK cell number. I almost expect to be called "Mr. Reginald"... ...and often am. I fail to make the most of the many opportunities to have fun at a scammer's expense that come along. Familiarity breeds contempt.

I have these all the time, but they suppose to come from the Naorbi, Australian, or UEA, or French refugee camps. They want to give me millions because they don't have time, and thier ''lawyer'' or pastor assured them that I will be the right one to contact to give it to me, because they don't trust anyone else. I just love these lol I often ask, ''if you're rich...why are you in a refugee camp''? Sometimes they block me, or just say, it's something to do with the camp, while waffling on about random stuff.
I lost my father to esophageal cancer and later to be found internal bleeding, as my father was having a blood transfer, and that led doctors to realize he was worsening in condition and passed the next morning, due to internal bleeding. 💔 😢 It's heartbreaking to see these people use illness and disease to scam.
What a way to announce someone passing away. I was blown away by them using the word dead. They could’ve said deceased or something a little bit more professional sounding. 🤣
This actually worked out for my 501(3)c animal rescue. The email was brief, though - not long winded. It just said that we are the recipients of part of the estate of "J Foster." That's not the name but it was a common name & we had no idea who this person was. It gave us a phone # to call. Turned out the phone # was to one of the big insurance companies & it was legit. The ins co mailed us a formal letter & a form to fill out. We rec'd $15,000 cash & $50,000 in stocks. Turns out the deceased lady contributed to us once abt 10 yrs ago is why we didn't remember her.
One of the key differences is that your bequest did not also come with a requirement to pay any money for "processing". When someone leaves you something in their will, the estate pays for all the processing and the inheritors just get the assets.

This actually worked out for my 501(3)c animal rescue. The email was brief, though - not long winded. It just said that we are the recipients of part of the estate of "J Foster." That's not the name but it was a common name & we had no idea who this person was. It gave us a phone # to call. Turned out the phone # was to one of the big insurance companies & it was legit. The ins co mailed us a formal letter & a form to fill out. We rec'd $15,000 cash & $50,000 in stocks. Turns out the deceased lady contributed to us once abt 10 yrs ago is why we didn't remember her.

One of the key differences is that your bequest did not also come with a requirement to pay any money for "processing". When someone leaves you something in their will, the estate pays for all the processing and the inheritors just get the assets.

I have received this in my SPAM as an email on multiple occasions...

I get those kind of e-mails all the time in my spamfolder. Sometimes even in my own language => Dutch.
