I love watching these videos. I always wondered about the different worms though. Some of the innards are orange while others dark red or even black. I wonder if that affects taste or is it just the color. Perhaps I'll get to try one day.
@@TheRealNeck0 heya no offence but i m not vegan and i love watching these tho no offence mybe she alsoo like to watch these videos and i respect everyonez opinion🙂
Please shut up, they don't live like how you live. Not everyone is white, vegan, or south Asian or middle eastern. Stop trying to put your values on other regions.
Other than the sea pineapple tunicate tasting bitter everything else is pretty mild in flavor, just ocean salt flavor. Of course often difficult to chew depending on species.
If you want to harvest anything , just make sure we all consume responsibly. We should not be eating sharks since many of their species are endangered while sea cucumbers for eg are dwindling fast. Just because we can hunt them that we should overconsume. And no, it’s not about culture either because we have been educated about how our actions would have negative impact on the environment so culture should never come first.
How do you eat it after it is prepped? Are there sauces that you buy separately or do you take it home to cook with? Looks very interesting, the only thing I've tried from the plate is abalone and conch
I am fascinated by these videos and realize how much talent it takes to do this. I also respect the culture but I honestly always wonder how anyone can eat this stuff raw. Like I know how bad it would taste to grab a fish out of a lake cut it up and just eat it. Like how are their taste buds so different from like an Americans. I just don’t get it. They are extremely clean with their job and I appreciate that. I just wish I could figure out how people find this delicious, like the pink worms still had remnants of blood in them still.
There are several sauces to go with this. No one eats these without sauces. Still uncooked but safe for human consumption if it is from ocean. But you cannot do this with fresh water fishes. Pretty dangerous.
im a born and raised American and i fucking love raw seafood no matter what it is. I have, legit, just taken pieces off of a fish raw that had been as you described just taken out of water and then cut up 😂 it was amazing. However, i also live on the tail end of Long Island and ive been surrounded by water (and seafood) my whole life.
Most oceanic fish and creatures we can eat without being affected by parasites, the issue is when they are out of the oceans. That's when pathogens in our environment can make the meat dangerous
Can you stfu? Stop imposing your views on people who live near the sea or ocean. Obviously you are closed minded and ignorant not everyone eats peanut butter and jelly sandwiches like you.
Considering from your account and pfp, you’re old. How do you think we found the vegetables we eat today weren’t poisonous? We tested, we watched other animals, starved and got desperate. These people are on another part of the planet so they eat differently than UK or USA.
Wow, that's fresh and colourful! 🧡❤️️️💛 So much work and experience goes into preparing just one plate! 👏 Too bad about those pretty shells though... 🥺
How else would you suppose they kill it? Ice? Ice has been proved to suffocate the fish before it passes out from the cold. A knife or hammer would be quicker. Stop being a snowflake and get some thick skin
Phew, preparing those spoon worms even had ME wincing, and I’m a woman! 😅
