We had a hand spa when we stayed at Nachikatsuura. Foot spas and hand spas throughout the town of Tsukiji when visiting Nachi Falls. Another great video ❤

Nice day indeed, it was nice to see a subscriber too , what time did you get back? I like how you travel a good distance in a day I suppose Nikko was my longest day trip and staying at Oshiage made it easy but I might try further daytrips for sure now

I just have got back to the hotel at around 8pm but the key is leaving earlier.. and I should have left an hour earlier to make the most of it as places start opening at 10 it’s always good to aim to arrive just before if possible

I didn't realize that you got one onsen experience on this day, I thought your onsen dreams were thwarted, until you returned to your hotel at night. Apparently I didn't understand what I was watching. I'm a Jo fanatic and have been to many. It is my goal to visit the 12 original Jos of Japan. Well actually 11 as one caught fire and was destroyed, before I got to attend it. I find reconstructions easier to get around in often because they don't have the steep, slippery wooden stairs (ladders really), that you climb up and down in stocking feet or slippers. If the exhibits are museum quality I like it more sometimes. That's not to say the majesty of the original Jos doesn't draw me more.
I didn't know you met subscribers in coffee shops! I thought it was always bars or street walking, who knew. I thought either walking or drinking were part of the meetup requirements. Great video, as always. Caught a glimpse of you in the last Oriental Pearl Channel video, getting around mate.

      hmmm,... I'm sorry ... it was confusing ... " Jo " ... you meant 「ジョウ」right? ... I personally don't like any of them ... (>_

@@towada1066 I meant Jo as in castle. My Japanese sensei taught me that and I thought it was a more elegant to say it that way.

@@jimross7648 thank you! .... hmmm,... this isn't quite right though ... 「城」can be read as 「ジョウ 」or 「しろ」... so I think in romaji the Chinese pronunciation spelling is " jou " ... anyway, for onsen, I always get nervous when the fathers bring their little children into the public bath ... (^_^)

hmmm,... if you like hot baths, I think it will be more convenient to visit the Black Water baths in Kamata, Tokyo. I want to go, but my relatives think they are too scummy. Anyway, Odawara Castle is like Osaka Castle ... utterly artificial ... if you like authentic things, Hikone Castle is interesting ...

@@HappyGaijin hmmm,... for family trips I think we use Mitsui Garden hotels mainly (they are second tier and depending on location can have lots of foreign tourists) ... I really like JAL hotels (but they are business class and very simple) ... the Peninsula Hotel in Yurakucho, Tokyo is first tier ... I had dinner there but I want to spend money on theater instead of bedrooms ...
