    Excellent lesson! Trying to get my boy ready for 7th grade tryouts. These drills from coach are a great supplement to his team league training.

    Hi when i dribble and go to score, i use to do it at high speed but when i get to the rim and and make the layup i have too much speed and strength so the ball hit the backboard and i miss. Can someone help me please ?

    • @WhiteMamba824
      @WhiteMamba824 Рік тому +1

      You can be going 100 miles an hour, but your mind can’t be. No matter the circumstances you have to stay composed, you could also throw in a change of pace to throw off your defender. You can be driving, and stop for a second then from there you could spin back to get to the hoop, crossover, anything really. You could also over inflate a ball and then try layups with it, it’s going to bounce off the hoop, if you don’t give it a soft touch because it’s so bouncy. So that can help with your touch as well

    • @jamalakanbi506
      @jamalakanbi506 Рік тому +2

      That’s the problem you need to slow down at the rim, learn how to change your pace

    • @pradyg.9192
      @pradyg.9192 Рік тому +1

      I'll try. Slowing down and dribbling will be difficult because i'll have to adjust my game and i'm not very good at dribbles but i'll do my best. Thanks guys🙂
