I was even scared to post this video, I almost didnt complete it except for Erin encouraging me. Im hoping this is valuable stuff in many years to come better than a journal, easier than one of my efforts to entertain and produce too
Congrats on the incoming grandkid. Maybe G'dag is enough like granddad to work. Funny that you say the iPhone is sub par when you are getting an Insta360. 360's are great and versatile but the resulting video won't be as good as the iPhone. Of course your style is about feel and fun and either a 360 or iPhone can work if they help to capture the right footage. The iPhone is a much more forgiving learning curve then whatever your whizzbang new camera and for social media videos it's often more about the feel of what you capture and having a quick turn around. Adam Savage (ex Myth Buster) has some interesting videos about how he shoots his videos. He even uses the built in mic on his iPhone when shooting alone. he has a good philosophy on it.
