- A detailed process of how HYBRID THEORY was recorded, how their singles were released and promoted. And a conclusion as to why HYBRID THEORY is indeed THE RECORD OF A GENERATION!
This is Part 2 of HYBRID THEORY | RECORD OF A GENERATION
On 24th of October Linkin Park's debut album Hybrid Theory has turned 20 years old. A meaningful album for the group and millions of people around the world that were touched by the efforts of Linkin Park. The album has been influential to many bands for the past 20 years and managed to transcend boundaries of genres and people's perception of music in general. The release of 20th anniversary edition of Hybrid Theory gave me a good reason to dig deep into what made this album so impactful.

It's so cool to watch the making of one of the albums of my childhood/teenage years. The guys really worked hard on it and you can hear that hard work when you listen to Hybrid Theory. It's such a classic and 20 years later, it deserves all the love and praise it still gets.
Yes indeed! I feel the same! It’s kind of surprising that the record still holds up considering it’s relative simplicity. I am really glad they honoured the record with the 20th anniversary edition! Brings back some very old memories! Kind of a trip!
@@saysthemanbehindthemask It really still holds up. I recently listened to it from start to finish and I feel it just keeps getting better. Hybrid Theory and even Meteora age like fine wine. They make me feel like I am in high school again in a good way.
Wow this whole album was dedication
Indeed it was! Imagine being rejected over 40 times! Especially for a band with a singer like Chester 🤦♂️ only when they heard the final cut of the album could the label see the vision Linkin Park have had all along
Dude your videos are FUCKING amazing. The production quality, attention to detail- EVERYTHING is just overwhelming. It is a disgrace so few are seeing them, thought of contacting Rockfeed och any other big channel to feature/advertise them?
Well thank you for the positive feed back! Yes a lot of work goes into these... much more than most expect, so it’s a real shame they reach so few people. No, I honestly have not thought of promoting through other channels... I don’t know how I would go about that really... the only way I promote is through fan sites or fan groups on Facebook... which obviously does not seem like enough of exposure.
great job dude!! really WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks I appreciate the positive feedback and glad you liked it!
And so it began, the soundtrack to my youth and I don’t mean this album by itself, I mean their ehole catalog. This album was my introduction not only to Linkin Park, but music in general. I remember seeing their music video on MTV and I was instantly hooked. I was like 7 at the time and I really couldn’t tell you what it was that captured my attention like that, it was the overall package I guess. I followed the band trough the years and through all the changes until unfortunately Chester had his untimely demise. This album was the gateway to heavier music for so many people, no wonder it sold like it did. It’s one of the best selling albums of all time and probably the last rock record to go diamond ever.
This channel needs some exposure asap, it’s like the one amazing band bubbling in the underground making the greatest music ever. I mean the quality of these vids are fucking incredible, I could watch these even if they were about Britney Spears. This is “Behind The Music” level of documentaries you’ve blessing us with, I’m not even exaggerating. The content is so informative amd detailed and the editing of it all is just immaculate. WHY DOESN’T THIS GET MORE VIEWS !?
We can tell you put real effort into these and that you genuinely love making them, and let me tell you, you’ve found your calling Sir.
This was true for so many including myself that I just knew I had to make a detailed video for HT in some capacity at one point... even though it did not get as many views as I’d like it to get I still feel it was necessary to have it in the catalogue of my channel. Thanks for your support again. These take a lot of time and effort so I cannot release them as often as I would like which probably contributes to my channel being hard to find... UA-cam is for the most part a numbers game sadly and more often than not some of the worst content on this platform gets most of the attention. I have come to terms with that. Again spread the word and thanks for the positive feedback!
Finally part 2 is up! Took a lot of effort and more time than expected! It was an interesting project to work on regardless. A cool trip down the memory lane which reminded me of how important this album was for me growing up and to my early formative years as a musician.
I wish it was a more polished piece of work (especially in terms of voiceover) but I just could not delay the release any longer.
If anybody is a member of LINKIN PARK UNDERGROUND I'd appreciate it you shared this video on the official fan site of the band so that as many LP fans as possible could see this video! Thanks in advance!

Hope you enjoy this video,
Thank you,

Fantastic job dude!
Thanks Ludvig! I appreciate the support! Glad you liked it! Was a lot of work!
Sounds great
Cheers Deedee! Always nice to see you! ;)
Incredible video man! Greetings from venezuela
Glad you enjoyed it!
Not sure if you've seen Part 1 if not you'll probably like that too. You should also check out my video on Chester's voice in series > Voices Episode 7 < I am pretty sure you will enjoy it!
awesome video! maybe u could make a video about the chocolate starfish
Thanks man! Well maybe... I don’t think it’s their best work. I think LB were at their best on their debut... I would have to find a specific angle to cover Starfish... you see LB did not release an epic anniversary edition like LP did for HT
@@saysthemanbehindthemask thats true that there is no anniversary edition comin, but these both album were nearly released on the same date and Starfish sold over 1million copies a week and it was no.1 on billboard. its a big thing and maybe forgotten thing in the numetal scene, maybe it deserves a closer look :)
YAYYY
Haha! My long time subscribers are finally waking up!
320 shows in one year. Fuck.
It’s over that ha... according to wiki 324... LP said it was around that yuh... crazy, crazy! Performing nearly every day. Good to see you back btw!
@@saysthemanbehindthemask Glad to see you're still putting out great stuff man!
Thanks, I appreciate that! I am trying!
That’s like a show a day, bruh.
You would be completely deaf "in the end"
Are you doing one for Meteora?
I plan to, yes
YES
