    I'm working to heal from a traumatic event that left me with hyperadrengia, where I get adrenaline dumps that leave my body incredibly sore from constant tensing. This practice is such a gift. I feel relief in both the muscle tissues and the organs/glands. Thank you so much for all the beautiful Yin content you share, and thank you also for teaching the energy center and meridian correspondence. It helps me bring awareness into those places that I struggled to identify and connect with.

    I too found this workout to be very relaxing; it helped me to get grounded, and slow down. The only pose I had difficulty with was the one requiring me to support myself on my elbow; I had to get out of the pose early for that one. But I could see how it was good for my lower back area. I liked your comments on how adrenals can get out of whack, and how important they are to maintain in a healthy manner. Good reminders.

Cat Pulling It's Tail has several variations - one is to lie on your side and reach back for the bottom leg with more of a twisting action (I use that version more often), and this takes the longer arm/shoulder hold out of the pose (something to try if you see this pose again).     Thank you so much! I was avoiding doing this one- yet relised how 'shot' my adrenals have been with all the daily stress of broken bones and such.. I feel far more rested. Where are your gato's? I thought they may of showed themselves; Midas sure was active in his support of this one; I thought Lucy was nearby💖.

      Welcome! We live in a world where adrenal fatigue is the new normal - sadly. It's good to care for ourselves, slow down and rest/heal and find a more balancing energy level for our days/nights. Glad you enjoyed this practice - Lucy comes and goes as she wills and so do the rest of the gang.     Absolutely what I need on a regular basis, as tend to run high & burnout. Really essential now, as been feeling a lot of pain in lower back. This did the trick!! Love you in blue too~perfect for the Water element!!💙💙💙🦋🦋🦋💙💙💙

    Thank you Aprille! This was a great practice -- I feel relaxed and energized all at once. I particularly loved the half dragonfly and supported fish. And your tips on cat pulling its tail were really helpful; I feel like I understand that pose for the first time.

This would be one to use on and off throughout the week along with Restorative practices, Yoga Nidra, and other kidney/bladder meridian practices (related to adrenals).     Do you have anything for tinnitus ?

      Not specifically Martha as tinnitus can have multiple causes that would be challenging to cover in one practice. However, Yin Yoga helps with settling, grounding, and stress reduction which all could help. Let me do some research though and see if I can create something that might help (you are not the first to ask me about this). Putting it on my list now!
