I walk in, dodge the flying attack then immediately start casting the Rotten Butterflies incantation. He typically hits me when I'm about halfway through the animation, but that's all you need to spawn the exploding butterflies, then they burst and proc rot on him almost 100% of the time while you're getting up. Then I do my best to stay close and dodge his combos while chipping away at his health. I just wish phase 2 didn't start so early, and of course it cures his rot status so I have to try and proc it again during that insanity.
It's worth mentioning the 'Parry punishes' Unlike other bosses he won't allow you to parry loop by default, he can use either the stomp or the double slice slam after a parry and if either gets used after the *second* parry it will end that loop and he can use any of his usual moveset.
For the move where he chucks the meteors at you, I’ve found that you can also run to the side and then jump when the meteors are about to hit you. It’s cool to see another option and it looks easier lol. Great video man!
That move has been so inconsistent for me, sometimes I feel like I deserved to dodge it but got hit and sometimes I feel like I deserve to get hit but didn't. Man I did everything else in the dlc and got to this fight and it's like... fuck. First phase? Sure. A pain, but I can do it with enough practice. The second phase is too much for me. I'll try again tomorrow. But man... I might just look up a way to cheese this fight to be honest if I can't do it.
@greatestever1174 I cheesed it. Fingerprint shield and Mohg's spear with the solitude armor. Talismans I had were mainly the golden braid, the +3 physical damage negation drake talisman, and the guard boosting talisman. I'd have to double check when I'm home. 3 hours. It took me 3 hours. ...And I recently found out that having the NPC summons boosted his health, so yeah, that was some bullshit.
I'm feeling the same way. I can get him to phase 2 pretty consistently, but the sheer amount of shit he does in phase 2 just decimates me every time. I'm alright if this is what it took to reach my limit.
Thank you for an actual move breakdown, the fight became way more consistent with knowledge of how to dodge some of these ridiculous attacks. I personally enjoyed using the Deflecting Hardtear, the one which gives you Sekiro parries, makes the fight WAY more fun while still being challenging.
For the gravity pull attack, 1. You can dodge the first part when he sucks you in and if you’re not too close he won’t follow up 2. If you get pulled in sprint in the opposite direction but jump first and you won’t be hit by anything
yesss, this is exactly what i figured out yesterday or the day before. jumping then sprinting away is the best thing anyone can do rather than trying to roll in between the spiral rows of rocks that come out of the ground, far less complicated

the gravity pull is really simple to dodge if you know how to do it. You can dodge the gravity pull just by rolling, if you don't dodge the pull what you do is after you have been pulled you have to turn around and sprint away. When you see him slam down his swords jump over the stone spire and keep sprinting. Works for phase 2 as well. Jump and sprint from the first gravity pull and stone spiral keep sprinting away from the clones slamming down and when he slams down jump over the stone spiral and keep sprinting. You can adjust you direction a bit if you know that you're gonna run into a wall, but not by too much or the clones will hit you.
if you get sucked in by the gravity pull just roll backwards twice. then you can do whatever you need because he has a delay before jumping at you and attacking
Honestly this is the only boss I have fought in elden ring to make me question if I want to keep playing. It just feels like he isn't designed to be interesting and rewarding to fight. Messemer for example I felt was really tough but fair but this is just on a different level
one thing of note: you can parry the bloodflame poke AND the slash, although the slash is very finnicky and if you arent hugging radahn its very easy to get caught by the explosion afterwards.
I found out that at the beginning of the second phase, when he does the big AOE attack, if you have good enough defenses you can run towards him and attack him and when the aoe explodes, you can block with your shield or even your sword, i found out it doesn't do much damage to me and i didnt even get slammed to the ground, so i could hit him 2-3 times and then heal off the damage taken easily. Hope this helps someone (i was using quite good armor and the hair thing that boosts holy resistance tho)
For the gravity well attack, just sprint back and jump the cross slash that initiates the gravity well, and keep sprinting back, hes going to go up in the air and send a bunch of clones... keep sprinting back.. amd when the real radahn shows up, do the same thing and jump the cross slash gravity well
I like this fight, i just have one big problem, visibility, i most often died due to either the light beams or miquillas hair obscurring Radhans tells, making me misjudge distance or timing
Right? The big holy nuke took me to a nice 20 fps, before I straight-up LOWERED MY SETTINGS to medium in hopes of my pc not shitting itself everytime he used it, which sorta worked, going to between 30 and 40 fps
That phase two explosion AOE gets me to a comfortable 15fps. I have a decent PC too. To be honest the whole DLC has seems way more intense on my pc than the base game
Nice tips that helped get me through phase one consistently! There are a few that I'm really struggling with (the X attack, all the new attacks in phase 2) so it would be nice to have chapters so I can rewatch those
I just beat him with a turtle build, watching this for ng+ because his soul gives 3 things.. nice breakdown too, now I see strats he’s not that broken in his phase 2 anymore
Just run to the closest arena wall during the big meteor attack. He seems to always land pretty central in the arena, and the blast won’t hit you that way.
Any way you could make a move breakdown with a medium load? Some of these dodges don't work if you have a med. load (specifically the one he does after the meteor storm 2nd phase)
5:50 ? The gravity attack!?!? That one is actually easy and has a secret. Of course you can roll the gravity. If you’re far that the end of that HOWEVER! If you get caught or roll close to him he will do the gravity earth attack. Dodging back or even simply running back will allow you to avoid damage. In phase 2 he will teleport up, but all the clones are USELESS! They don’t do anything. The real him however will do the gravity attack again. So simply running away for the whole duration of the attack on a straight line will keep you 1000% safe AND THE SECRET! When posible I like to activate this attack. Because after he is done with everything, he is super likely if not guaranteed to do a grab attempt. And I find that grab attempts are one of his most punishable moves to high recovery. Hope this helps!
With distance, as soon as you see gravity magic do a roll, if he does the pull you will dodge it, if he does the jump to you, you got time to roll again and dodge it.
for the gravity move where he pulls you in, If you get pulled in you can start sprinting away then jump when he swings, with will avoid most of the damage from the attack
When he does the meteor smash you can just out run it. Also when he does the big light explosion, instead of running away from it you can sprint to him, hit a few times and jump to avoid the ground explosion. The hits of light are on the outside of the big explosion radius. Double slash you can backstep the first hit to roll into the second cause it's pretty fast. I've also seen in a speedrun the guy walking out of the crazy multi dash attack he does this one I wasn't quite sure though.
I honestly think the only way to fully dodge his gravity pull is by dodging the initial pull, after that it seems impossible to avoid the rest. You can mitigate it by just rolling out of the swing, but rocks will still hit you.
I’ve found that if you dodge backwards into the rocks as his swords are swinging down and then spam roll you avoid all damage. Pulled this off quite consistently
Well i beat the dlc in less than two days but i have to say even if i LOOOVE how the bosses look and their attacks and lore implications, its a chore to do it on multiple playthroughs. Back when i was playing ds3 or bloodborne after the first playthrough i never EVER had the feeling of "god not a boss now" i was looking forward to most boss battles and some might have been boring but it was bearable. The bosses in this dlc (and some on the main game) have unfortunately been giving me this sense and i have finished 20 playthroughs already not counting the dlc (which i am currently on my second). I keep playing it because i enjoy the mobbing, the exploring even if done again,i love watching the scenery and trying to discover the lore but the bosses have finally become a drag. In the main game i look forward to Radahn, Godfrey, Rykard and my favorite Malenia. In the dlc i just want to get the boss through so that i can continue enjoying the game. Sorry for the long rant just wanted to vent my thoughts. I like discussions though if someone has an opinion i would love to hear it.
Agreed. I'm stuck on Consort Radahn right now but in truth I've only given it maybe 10 tries and kind of given up. I'm just out of gas. Towards the middle of the DLC I had the exact thing you mention when I just sighed when the bosses appeared. It's still a great game and the DLC is fantastic, but sometimes I find myself wishing the game actually deviated from the Souls formula more and went towards more traditional RPG style, i.e less difficult and more story focused, cos the lore is really interesting and it has a very unique tone. At the same time, that's not what it's meant to be, and what it is is still awesome. Just my preference I guess.
@@felixtodd1951 it also happened to me about halfway. I liked the dancing lion , Rellana and even Mesmer even if some people complain about this fight. Now i am going for the third maybe ill start skipping some for the first time i dont know yet.
I agree completely, I can’t see myself ever returning to anything in this DLC. Nothing stood out as “damn I can’t wait to try this again with a new approach!” Except for maybe Messmer. But even the exploration was worse this time around. Unlocked an entirely new area, which was Aesthetically amazing, vibrant green, flowers everywhere, only to find 3 repeat side bosses from the base game and at the end of the area was a talisman that already existed in the base game, but +1. Similar story for a ravine I found. Nothing but repeat enemy and repeat talisman but +1. People have said “Elden ring has no replay value” before, and 700+ hours later I couldn’t disagree with them more. However, I wholeheartedly believe that criticism applies nicely to this DLC. It was more disappointing/frustrating than it ever was fun. I have no reason to return to anything in the shadow realm
with the gravity grab attack in second phase. i recommend if you have the stamina roll backwards spam throughout the entire time don't stop. till it finishes
Great vid! Some other things: the golden braid boosts holy negation specifically and may be a better choice over the pearldrake. (they do stack tho so hey u can use both! Also if you defeat another boss you can get an item that removes the grab attack debuff letting you get grabbed multiple times in the fight without dying.
On that knock up sword swing he has on the first double slash he does you can time your roll with the tiny delay he adds as the swords become horizontal
His gravity pull in and smash is best avoided two ways I have found: 1) dodge the initial pull in (yeah I know "duh") 2) after the pull in sprint away from him and roll his smash you should be out of range at that point to not have to bother with the spike bullshit afterwards.
I just beat Radahn, rocking a str/faith build, the incantation you get from defeating Malenia was a key part to my strategy. If you get it off once in both phases and prioritise survival you can make it a little easier than taking him head on. I’d also suggest the Blasphemous blade as your primary to give you a decent range ash of war. It felt a little dishonourable to fight him like this but he’s tougher than any boss I’ve met in Elden ring.
for the gravity pull attack, you can just start sprinting backwards and jump when he slams his swords into the ground, keep walking backwards and you dodge it entirely
Make sure to use Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear for P2! It fully negates the dive and made it super easy! Just use it asap he´s starting to fly up, the bubble lasts 15sec, so long enough.

For the gravity attack, if you get caught by starcaller cry, immediately run backwards and jump/roll when he swings his swords and causes that little aoe. That should get you out of it pretty much all the time
how do you dodge his double swing into X attack on a medium roll. it always roll catches on the second swing and in phase 2 if you dodge away from it the light pillars will roll catch you?
The spam roll strategy for the 2nd phase ground slam does not work at all. Nor does the heal window after dodging left during the fire attack. He always follows up with a slash immediately after
for the gravity attack where he sucks you in, I feel like the best strategy is to just NOT engage with it. What I do is roll backwards, keeping my distance. Usually this makes Radahn do an easy to dodge telegraphed move.
My issue is phase 1 entrance No idea why they thought making him immediately attack with 0 chance to setup was a good idea considering he doesnt stop attacking at all (for me atleast) And phase 2 femboy phase I have no idea why he refuses to focus the mimic tear And when i tried it solo i couldn't even attack Spent maybe 7 minutes just dodging with no window to attack
Best way is light roll if get the rolling right most things will be easy even the gravity attack just keep rolling back until he finsh both attacks you will not get damaged at all
This video helped me beat Radahn. I figured out that you can jump over the purple spike slam and the spikes won't hurt you at all. It's easier than running away and keeps you close to him.
Nice guide. A few points I disagree with: 1. Sprinting horizontally and doing a jump while sprinting reliably dodges all meteors. 2. For golden spaz combo, just sprint right for the first four, dodge diagonally for the fifth one (his axe produces a golden beam in front of it), and dodge into the super delayed shockwave. 3. Just don’t fuck with the gravity attack. Always dodge away from it. If you get caught by it, spam roll back, unless he decides to do his two hit blade catch. Take that as an opportunity for damage.
Bro my Radahn is broken... he just did the gravity suck move 10 times in less than 30 seconds... he chained 4 in a row even though I was right next to him... Impossible to react when he does it if you are next to him, and also impossible to doge the rock damage after dodging the down swing... can't shield through it, can't block it, it just auto does damage.
For the gravity spikes that come from the ground, I sprint away right after I get pulled then roll a bunch when he un-crosses his arms. I haven't gotten hit by that attack since I saw this method. Hope it helps!
For the gravity pull, i figured out the best method is to immediately run away and then right when he swings just jump and you’ll dodge it everytime. Same with the meteors in the air. If you run left or right (I prefer right) and you jump right when the meteors are about to hit you dodge them all without having to roll

You parried more in this video than I have in every single souls game and Elden ring combined 😂
It's worth mentioning the 'Parry punishes'
Unlike other bosses he won't allow you to parry loop by default, he can use either the stomp or the double slice slam after a parry and if either gets used after the *second* parry it will end that loop and he can use any of his usual moveset.
For the move where he chucks the meteors at you, I’ve found that you can also run to the side and then jump when the meteors are about to hit you. It’s cool to see another option and it looks easier lol. Great video man!
I fucking love you bro I’ve been getting hit by that move and my hp is gone you get a like and I hope you have a cold pillow at night
That move has been so inconsistent for me, sometimes I feel like I deserved to dodge it but got hit and sometimes I feel like I deserve to get hit but didn't. And then the damage numbers are all over the place, sometimes I get one shot at full HP through ritual shield. Thanks for helping cut down at least one BS aspect of this fight lol
Straight up never struggled this much in any souls game I’m debating just never beating this dlc and never touching this game again, got all the way to this fight and don’t even know if it’s worth it I’ve only got to phase two like twice and instantly get bodied. I think I’m done idk
Feeling the same way....
@greatestever1174 I cheesed it.
Ultimately I still feel like most of it came down to RNG as to whether or not the game gave me run-killer moves before I could DPS him down, but I definitely couldn't have done it without your vid. Kudos!
Finally a guide actually going through the attacks and how to dodge them, everything I found so far has been "dude fingerprint shield :DDDDdd".
Thanks for the ACTUAL guide man.
Yeah git gud and learn to block 😂
I personally enjoyed using the Deflecting Hardtear, the one which gives you Sekiro parries, makes the fight WAY more fun while still being challenging.
For the gravity pull attack,
1. You can dodge the first part when he sucks you in and if you’re not too close he won’t follow up
After defeating Orphan of Kos - Damn I feel accomplished. Cant wait for NG+
After defeating Slave Knight Gale - Damn, I feel accomplished. Cant wait for NG+
After defeating Sword Saint Ishiin - Damn, I really feel accomplished. Cant wait for NG+
After cheesing Radahn - Go to Hell, I have no desire to fight you ever again
Lol remember when Malenia felt hard before the dlc.
She might still be the hardest boss yet.
The DLC bosses are no longer that difficult once you learn the scadutree fragment mechanic. But this boss... man, it's just beyond me
@@script3578 she's not hardest boss at all, certainly not so fun one due to her waterfowl dance but without her magnum opus attack, so she would be one of easiest. Lots of bosses in this dlc are far harder than anyone in base game.
@@DeluluCinema-tz3zvmessmer or radahn are harder, maybe not messmer but radahn is 100% way harder than her, some people are saying that radahn is the hardest boss in the whole soulsborne games
@@mnc29imo I think rellana and radahn are the hardest
This boss makes her a walk in the park.
the gravity pull is really simple to dodge if you know how to do it.
You can practically parry all his moves in phase one (most of em) phase two is just a whole pain in the ass bc of the visuals and the holy spam
You can use Miquella's great rune that you get after beating the shadow sunflower to get rid of the rune icon.
Im stuck on him right now. I’ve never parried successfully in 100+ hours in the game. Might be time to learn how to use a shield
i said the same shit lmaoo took it off, great kantana straight hands for me now
Get Carian retaliation ash of war for shields, gives extended parry frames and only costs Fp on successful parries, can also parry magic attacks!
@@chubbs_tubby3360is it better than the buckler shield?
@@rushennair692yes, Carian retaliation has the highest number of parry frames in the game
@@lesouth0348 thanks!
Can I also get a PC build guide so I don't lag in phase 2?
I just lowered my settings to the lowest and it worked, I recommend it.
I have a damn near top pc and that first glowing move of second phase makes my pc want to take a shit.
For the alabaster pull and ground slam I found that if you get pulled in you can run back and jump at the last second to clear the stones
Nice tips that helped get me through phase one consistently! There are a few that I'm really struggling with (the X attack, all the new attacks in phase 2) so it would be nice to have chapters so I can rewatch those
For the gravity smash he does litterally wait before he hits you and just dodge back twice and you should dodge it
Unless I'm playing sekiro I'm not doing this parrying bullshit
I just beat him with a turtle build, watching this for ng+ because his soul gives 3 things..
nice breakdown too, now I see strats he’s not that broken in his phase 2 anymore
There are at least 3 places where You can dupe his soul in the DLC.
5:50
? The gravity attack!?!?
That one is actually easy and has a secret.
Of course you can roll the gravity. If you’re far that the end of that
HOWEVER!
If you get caught or roll close to him he will do the gravity earth attack.
Dodging back or even simply running back will allow you to avoid damage.
In phase 2 he will teleport up, but all the clones are USELESS! They don’t do anything. The real him however will do the gravity attack again. So simply running away for the whole duration of the attack on a straight line will keep you 1000% safe
AND THE SECRET!
When posible I like to activate this attack.
Because after he is done with everything, he is super likely if not guaranteed to do a grab attempt. And I find that grab attempts are one of his most punishable moves to high recovery.
Hope this helps!
With distance, as soon as you see gravity magic do a roll, if he does the pull you will dodge it, if he does the jump to you, you got time to roll again and dodge it.
wouldn't the golden braid be better than the pearldrake talisman?
Correct
I really recommend rolling back - not forward - from his gravity pull. The more distance, the less likely the smash followup
Mee-Quella , reminds me of that key and peele skit lmao , good video bro
for the gravity move where he pulls you in, If you get pulled in you can start sprinting away then jump when he swings, with will avoid most of the damage from the attack
I literally don’t have time to do any attack before he’s already attacking me again, i can only land an attack if I’m willing to tank one
That triple swing always got me. I've never even seen someone roll it
I honestly think the only way to fully dodge his gravity pull is by dodging the initial pull, after that it seems impossible to avoid the rest. You can mitigate it by just rolling out of the swing, but rocks will still hit you.
It is actually possible to dodge/jump the rocks. I think I did it twice, but still couldnt get the timing down for it.
It's possible but I can't do it consistantly.
I’ve found that if you dodge backwards into the rocks as his swords are swinging down and then spam roll you avoid all damage. Pulled this off quite consistently
The gravity pull is very dodgable. But in the case you still get pulled immediately start running backwards and jump when the rocks come out.
Immediately sprint backwards and then dodge roll twice when he swings down go avoid the entire attack.
But Metyr, Radahn, Lord of frenzied flame and Gaius....my god this was a chore XD. And its even worse on my second playthrough.
On that knock up sword swing he has on the first double slash he does you can time your roll with the tiny delay he adds as the swords become horizontal
i cannot dodge the attack at 1:50 to save my life and i can light roll. i always end up getting hit by the second swing
Blasphemous blade build worked for me, did plenty of damage but you still need to learn the boss.
It felt a little dishonourable to fight him like this but he’s tougher than any boss I’ve met in Elden ring.
for the gravity pull attack, you can just start sprinting backwards and jump when he slams his swords into the ground, keep walking backwards and you dodge it entirely
thank you bro this was the one i was looking forb
THANK YOU this was the one attack in first phase I couldn’t figure out
THANK YOU this was the one attack in first phase I couldn’t figure out
Try light rolling (light armor). It helped me a ton with this boss fight.
Make sure to use Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear for P2! It fully negates the dive and made it super easy! Just use it asap he´s starting to fly up, the bubble lasts 15sec, so long enough.
Bro I beat Starscourge Radahn thanks to your video, my goat. I can finally go to the DLC now!
Wrong boss numnuts
How do you double dodge the first two quick attacks of the triple swing? He always hits me with the 2nd and I can't get an indicator for this attack combo!!
BANANA BREAD RECIPE
2 to 3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) very ripe bananas, peeled (about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups mashed)
1/3 cup (76g) butter, unsalted or salted, melted
1/2 teaspoon baking soda (not baking powder)
1 pinch salt
3/4 cup (150g) sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet, 1 cup if more sweet)
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (205g) all-purpose flour
To my knowledge the double swing into x cut In phase 1 is not dodgable without bloodhound step
You have to dodge backwards and roll into the x
It is but you need f1 pilot reaction time to dodge the first swing correctly
You actually need to roll forward, then roll again.
@@MatheusRodrigues-ck3sg I thought so, it seems the only way you can is if you see the first swing coming with like you said some insane reaction time and then pray you timed it early enough to roll for the second, the second x cut isn’t really a problem for me
You can parry the x cut
If you are in medium load switch to light load because light roll will carry you
ah yes i will totally remember all his combos
For the gravity tech I just dodge back right before he pulls you in. If he does pull you in run away from him and when he smashes down dodge back 3 times
The triple swing at 1:56 comes in too fast. The first blow at least. Am I the only one unable to react to it?
Nah man me too idk how to predict it second one always hits me
Roll backwards and into it, or roll right and forward at the right moment of the first swipe and the 2nd won’t track you, but it just comes out so fast to be consistent.
this is the best video on the DLC - hands down - thanks for break down his dodges and not showing some omega super overloaded build. this takes made skills but learnable - GGs to U bro
For the gravity attack, if you get caught by starcaller cry, immediately run backwards and jump/roll when he swings his swords and causes that little aoe. That should get you out of it pretty much all the time
By "backwards do you mean behind him or backwards compared to the player facing him?
@@phillidaadamus4349 run away from him so turn around (assuming you’re locked on and facing him)
for gratity pull if you get sucked you must run backwards and roll at the moment of the swing to avoid all the damage
New storm caller cry can be avoided by dodging the vacuum after the stomp or by dodging back instantly after being caught by it
how do you dodge his double swing into X attack on a medium roll. it always roll catches on the second swing and in phase 2 if you dodge away from it the light pillars will roll catch you?
don't medium roll. light roll
You can jump his gravity slam.
Also you can remove the heart stolen thing with Miqs Rune.
The spam roll strategy for the 2nd phase ground slam does not work at all. Nor does the heal window after dodging left during the fire attack. He always follows up with a slash immediately after
Yo for the pull in gravity attack you can easily avoid it if you run back a bit to avoid his swords then jump towards him over the ground spikes
for the gravity attack where he sucks you in, I feel like the best strategy is to just NOT engage with it. What I do is roll backwards, keeping my distance. Usually this makes Radahn do an easy to dodge telegraphed move.
For 6:00 I found dodging back 3 times as soon as his attack goes up and doing it again after his after image works better for not taking any damage
My issue is phase 1 entrance
No idea why they thought making him immediately attack with 0 chance to setup was a good idea considering he doesnt stop attacking at all (for me atleast)
And phase 2 femboy phase
I have no idea why he refuses to focus the mimic tear
And when i tried it solo i couldn't even attack
Spent maybe 7 minutes just dodging with no window to attack
Best way is light roll if get the rolling right most things will be easy even the gravity attack just keep rolling back until he finsh both attacks you will not get damaged at all
This video helped me beat Radahn.
I figured out that you can jump over the purple spike slam and the spikes won't hurt you at all. It's easier than running away and keeps you close to him.
can you punish him? i usually run away and jump
I'm doing a shield poke tactic and the only thing giving me issues is falling on my knees for miquella.
for the gravity pull, if you get pulled, running away immediately and jumping when he slams always works for me
How in the fuck do you tell wehn hes going to tripple swing.
This. Feels like there's a missing transition animation like the 5 hit ending with an earthquake.
thank you for the breakdown! it makes it much easier to know what move he's making!
Nice guide. A few points I disagree with:
For the gravity attack just spam roll backwards the second you are pulled in 😭 i my self am surprised this work
5:55 Don't worry, all you have to do if you are caught is run away from him and jump when he slams down! That's it!
You can jump the big attack at the start of phase 2. Didn't know this until i watched a no hit run you don need to run away
in the first phase you can parry all attacks exept the upwards charged one.(only parry when you stand direct before hin)
If you run left or right (I prefer right) and you jump right when the meteors are about to hit you dodge them all without having to roll
double dodge is honestly fine for me with light roll, its really easy
Not completly sure about this, but I think you can survive more than two grab attacks if you use the Miquella's great rune item after getting grabbed.
Edit: just checked, the great rune does indeed work. It removes the charmed mark on your head when you use it.
On the gravity attack you can run away from him and jump as soon as he hits his swords on the ground and you wont get hit
Thank you for the breakdown on his move set, getting one tapped before being able to study his moves has been a huge pain 😂
This boss is absolutely immaculate in my opinion, but I wish some of the gravity attacks were easier to deal with, they always get me
Now imagine mastering the backstep eye frames with that one talisman it helps so far ngl
Gravity attack you can dodge the initial pull. As soon as he draws 2 swords
this boss really tests our bravery since most of his attacks you have to roll into him instead of away from him
For the pull-in attack equip a medium shield so that if you get caught in the first part you can try and reduce the guaranteed damage
In phase one just run back and jump when he slams his swords down
When he lands the gravity pull you can just run backwards and jump as he hits the ground and not take any extra damage besides the pull
used this build exactly and crushed him on my 3rd try, thank you so much bro!!!
