Looks like Michigan actually has a chance next week. I'm confident in Michigan's D-Line vs Washington's O-Line. We'll see how Michigan's secondary holds up. I'm also very confident in Michigan's offense after that first game.

Quick question for any avid fans of fcs football. If a fcs school beats a fbs school do they normally get a huge boost in the rankings? I saw they went from 9 to 4 but didnt know if you upset a fbs you get a boost in the rankings.
It depends on the win, beating a team like unlv won't boost a ton but a win over a power 5 team will always give a huge bump

Like I was thinking it was the opposite of fbs where a win over fcs with the exception of NDSU and James Madison maybe.... you wouldnt get a jump in the rankings but fcs is completely different. I looked up montana to see if they were ranked but I saw they were a higher up team so it's nice to see fcs showing up like this
Ya there is kind of a general belief that fbs teams are better than fcs but outside of p5 teams it's really not true. I know for a fact that teams in the power 3 fcs conferences are more talented than the bottom half of the group of 5 fbs.
Holy Cross just beat UConn, but since it was only by 10 points and they gave up four touchdowns it actually hurts their ranking.
There is a reason why FBS teams don’t like playing against Montana and Dakota FCS teams, because they are really good and they can beat FBS teams.
Both of the Montana D1 teams and North and South Dakota State should be FBS

Montana was flying around and deserved the win. They were simply the better, more consistent team. That Washington quarterback has a scattershot arm. The accuracy wasn't there.
