Ohio State just had the better athletes. The freshman QB didn’t have to do much with the RBs and Receivers out running Minnesota D. Minnesota looked like they had a veteran QB. The run game was good too.

Too much talent but Minnesota played great
Cuz he is a veteran…he’s been there for 5 years cuz he sucks and won’t get drafted. CJ gonna get drafted first round after his junior year
Give credit to Minnesota, they did good, that Chris Olave looks like a early draft pick. Hopefully we have a good effort against Northwestern.

They weren’t “struggling” just OSU picked up their shit. Once OSU gets into rhythm it’s impossible to beat them. There was no “Minnesota beating OSU” this year
From a Iowa fan, I’m VERY proud of Minnesota they looked very good. They WILL be a good team this year. They played OSU well. Good things to come this season for Minnesota.

Maybe but it's the first game, with a freshman QB, and half our secondary was out with injuries. OSU struggled and still won by 2 scores. If this continues against Oregon then I'll give you credit until then let's maybe wait and see how Alabama and Clemson actually do before judging anyone

The Punt where Garrett Wilson got hit trying to return and didnt have the ball (Kick-Catch inerference) The offensive pass inerference on the block on our corner by the tight end for minnesota. But yeah we cheated right?

That was a great effort by MN. If not for the scoop and score by big man Haskell it was a bit of a shootout game. Also, Olave's 61 yd was a bit of a nail in the coffin, too. Overall, I'd say UM is going to be a very good team again in the Big10 and other teams better beware of the Gophers.

Was at the game. Great atmosphere overall. Minnesota is building something but at the end of the day it’s THE Ohio state. Too many athletes and just better overall coaching/schemes. Hope Mo can get back and healthy! Kids got a bright future. SKI ⛷

Minenesota put up a fight in the first and 2nd half but as soon the 3rd and 4 half hit it went south from there
Couple of big calls helped OSU to win by that much...probably would've only been a one TD game or less if it wasn't for the missed block in the back at 10:38, missed targeting at 11:04, and missed PI call that made Minnesota kick the field goal at 9:22 it would've been a close game! Tough to see OSU seem to always get the benefit of the "doubt" AKA get every call in the Big Ten. Minnesota fought hard and wouldn't go away!
How about the pick at 9:00 that took out 2 defenders? Or the phantom roughing the passer that took away an interception and gave Minnesota a touchdown? The refs sucked on both sides so don’t act like they gave OSU a win.
@@osulights4812 the pick looked like them getting caught up, not intentional. Didn’t see the roughing the passer but they’ve been strict on those calls the past few years

I've lived most of my adult life abroad in East Asia and Europe. Ohio State is not "world famous" (as Gus remarked)- no one knows about it. Judging by t-shirts, the most known schools are UCLA and Harvard.

OSU did not look good I know this is the first game but it does tell alot when they play someone who's not going to let guys be wide open down the field for that QB to throw to which i wasn't impressed by and you look at that score meh! This is a team that has 5 star recruits on it and they struggled!
Against a team with 18 senior starters returning the leading rusher in the big ten back and a veteran offensive line with alot of starts that went 11-2 in 2019 and beat an impressive Auburn team that beat bama!!
