My aunt did a hoslistic infertility treatment in her late 30s after years of not being able to conceive and now has 4 children! This is why God gave us science, to work for our good not against it.
What was the treatment?
@@sunlight.waves_ if I remember correctly, vitamins for her imbalance, diet and more life style changes. My uncle too.
That gives me so much hope in my late 30’s after years of not conceiving too ty 🙏🏼🥹🕊️✝️🥰
I’ve been having issues with fertility and today I finally had a positive ovulation test! Thank God! 🙌🏽👏🏽😭😭
I had one last month and never had one before but it didn’t work out for me I hope and pray it works out for you 🙏🏼🥰🕊️✝️🙏🏼
I’m 45 and naturally pregnant using holistic medicine.
I did blood work, got my results, everything was fine but I had low AMH (no surprise at 44,at the time).
Went off sugar, caffeine, lowered my carbs.
In 4 months I was pregnant and this boy is VERY healthy!!
Try it first!! It cost far less than IVF and was far less invasive.
What kind of holistic Dr did you go to? A Dr like this or acupuncture ty 🥰💕🙏🏼
@@roseg1333 I used a fertility naturopath. I had to pay out of pocket because it’s not covered here in Canada but considering the cost and invasiveness of IVF, it was worth it. All costs together, it was about $1500 CAN. Not bad, really!
Congratulations!!❤
@@roseg1333 I’m sorry, I could have sworn I answered you earlier!
It was a fertility naturopath and it cost about $1500 total. Completely worth it!
That is incredible! When you lowered carbs, did that include fruit? I love hearing stories like yours
My husband and I tried for over a year (in my hometown of Nashville, TN) and never could conceive because I was stressed to the max with work and how busy and overcrowded the city had gotten. We moved to a remote little town up north last year and literally conceived that month. We now have a four-month old daughter! I have always been a nutrition nut & love running/weight lifting so I just knew in my gut it was stress for us. If your gut is telling you to eradicate a stressful aspect of your life if you're trying to conceive, please listen to it!
Yes yes I had quite the same experience! I too was so stressed from the city and work that my husband urged me to take time off and be home. I went on payed leave for a year (I am Dutch, so this can be arranged thank God) and got pregnant at 37 after 3 years of trying!! Baby is due next week :D
My husband and I have been trying for nearly 3 years, I've done a lot of work on my health and tracking my hormones. I'm surprised just how sensitive hormones are to diet and sleep. Now, I'm trying to reduce stress. It's difficult though because I'm prone to stress easy. I'd love advice on how to reduce stress without having to quit my job. I feel like my community won't support, "I quit my job to focus on reducing stress to ttc." I cheer that on, but I'm expected to provide an income, and we rely on my income.
I struggled with infertility for 4 1/2 years! Where I live, we have little to no choice when it comes to fertility doctors. So I went to the conventional fertility clinic but I was a pain in the butt for the staff there 😂. I asked a lot of questions, refused IVF from the beginning(which they recommend as a fix all), when I had a miscarriage, I wanted to look into why that happened right away (usually they wait for you to have two before looking into causes) and it paid off!
I had fibroids and other issues that were causing my infertility. I modified my diet, removed dairy and gluten which, for me, were really not good. Also, stress is such a huge variable! I quit my job and got pregnant two months later. I’m now 19 weeks pregnant with a little boy and I’m so grateful. Never lose hope! Always question everything! Don’t let the system treat you like a number! ❤
Aww that's amazing, congratulations ❤
Amen so happy for you 🙏🏼🥹🕊️✝️💕
@@MrsKalachik Thank you! Praise be to God!
@@roseg1333 Thank you so much! Praise be to God! ❤️
I have fibroids as well and I am trying so hard to change my diet!
Thank you for having Dr. Rubal talk about how she treats infertility holistically! I saw her at the LiveAction event recently and she gave me hope for conceiving a baby. My husband and I are so glad she’s close by us and we’ve just left a voicemail with her office for an appointment yesterday. We’re looking forward to speaking with her and praying that God will bless us with a baby. 🙏🏼
I've seen a lot of interviews with holistic doctors recently and the question I always want answered is this: "How can I find a doctor like you in my area? What are questions I should ask a new doctor to make sure I'm getting real holistic treatment and not being taken advantage of?"
A good start is ask if they consider themselves to be a functional or holistic medicine doctor. What is their approach to treating infertility? If they say IVF, then you know they arent very holistic
That’s been my biggest issue. Here in Hawaii I’m extremely limited.
My husband and I have considered moving to another state due to this.
Look up Mercier Therapy in your area
Look up NaPro certified doctors!
Look for NaPro doctors. They’re all over the world!
Yes. We need to teach young girls how to chart so they can respect their body from the get-go. Fertility issues connected to birth control seems like the biggest issue for women in their late 20s early 30s now.
Thank you for this episode. I pray many will share this episode!
I’ve never been on birth control. Me and my husband have been trying for 5 years and I’m only 33 :/ . It’s so frustrating.
@@taliaeve969 Oh goodness. My heart aches for you! I'm 33 as well and have never been on birth control. This episode gave me a lot of hope for women in your situation. I have several friends our age who are also struggling and have not been on birth control either. Would you ever consider reaching out to your doctor about these hormone issues? I know NaPro Technology is a fantastic resource, for example.
Thanks for this video as a millennial I feel like society really played a dirty joke on us we were told to go to school (college) get your degree get a career and buy a house and have kids and live life. I did all that and now I still can’t get pregnant and all I ever wanted was to have a family. Between the schooling and the bandaid of birth control as a fix it all it’s lucky any of us had kids. Still trying in my late 30’s but I’m losing hope. I hope and pray God will bless us soon with a baby 🙏🏼🕊️✝️❤️🥹🙏🏼🙏🏼
Don’t lose hope. I’m sorry and yes in many ways it was a dirty trick. Hang in there ❤
@@LilaRosePodcast thank you 🙏🏼🕊️❤️
Don’t lose hope stay in the fight in my late 30s 36 to be exact and honestly I have 2 kids but hubby and I have been trying for a third for the past 2 years..All things are possible I am ready to fight for a third although honestly it is hard.
I just got diagnosed with PCOS and have been feeling so alone. These issues were peppered over by birth control. Thank god for fertility awareness methods.
You're not alone, I'm here, too! Prayers!
I am in the same boat as you. My doctor also offered birth control and I said no. Its a carcinogen and I am also catholic. I don’t believe in birth control. Im starting to eat more healthy hearty home cooked meals and going on for walks.
I suffer from it too. I'll be praying for you ❤
I want to recommend the book Getting Pregnant With PCOS by Clare Goodwin, even if you aren't trying to conceive. Completely changed my life (I now have two daughters) and my understanding of PCOS. You are not alone!
@@maria_caitlin just bought it! Thank you for the recommendation
Right on time🎉 I’m currently TTC and looking for healthy answers
At 15 I was given a version of the pill that caused severe depression and anxiety, fatigue, nausea so severe that I vomited everytime I ate. I suffered through it for years and my doctor didn't bother looking into it. Instead she prescribed antidepressants for my symptoms. Hormones in birth control don't agree with some women. I suffered through my teenage years because of it and I don't think it should be handed out to young girls and women like a quick and easy solution to everything. I have never felt so light and happy being hormonal birth control free. Cycle syncing and tracking is easy for me and I feel so at home and safe in my body for once❤
I’m so sorry you went through that and didn’t get better care. So glad you’re on the other side of it now ❤
I just got diagnosed with PCOS and going to the doctor tomorrow so this is a very timely video
Thankyou so much for making this video! I have suffered with pcos for over 10 years it can be so horrible for women to be spun around years and years from doctors just telling you to take medicine to bandaid this. I have literally went to my new primary care and told her what blood levels we are drawing and then we are going to draw them again in 3 months and continue that until i figure out what extra lifestyle changes more that i need to do to get rid of my last symtom hirsutism! It has been so hard because ive managed to get my cycles back to normal the last 4 years but this one lingers along with some little bit of weight left to lose. Doctors just dont seem to understand this really you have to be your own advocate for sure.I pray this video gets out for all the women suffering with infertility! We had 4 years ttc 2 losses and blessed with 3 children now 🙏 there is hope ❤
THANKYOU DR RUBAL AND LILA FOR THIS! GOD BLESS YOU BOTH! I love how your speaking out for all the things you both do! Your AWESOME! ❤
Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl Lila and another informative podcast thank you
Thank you, Lila! Welcome back! And welcome back to Dr. Lauren Rubal!
We need more OB;GYN doctors like her. The last time I went to a GYN, they shoveled BC. I don't get doctors who spend years studying and don't care about harming their patients. Crazy world!
This was so informative! Im currently under the care of a Gianna clinic dr who is using similar techniques. Hoping for baby #3!
God bless you Lila from me and my husband. We really enjoyed watching your channel because we're happy that we're gonna become parents in our 20s together.
Praising and thanking God for doctors like you, Dr Lauren!
There's a difference between synthetic hormones and compounded hormones. Progesterone is very calming, helps with pms and heavy bleeding and post partum depression. You can get natural Progesterone in low doses OTC as a cream or an oil. If you are having pms use magnesium glycinate, change your diet and add some progesterone on days 14-28. Women suffer with menopause symptoms when bioidentical hormones are available.
This is amazing and beautiful... working with God's design for our bodies instead of against it. Hooray for nutrition, biology, and restorative measures!!
Yes!!
Lila, this is such a helpful session with many topics, thank you so much for sharing the key topics and their time stamp ❤
So excited for this! Thank you Lila ! 🙌🫶
Lila worth another awesome pod!
I am definitely teaching my girls how to chart.
Thank you so much! This was very informative.
I really want to hear the answer to the high prolactin/low progesterone issue. I’m currently in that boat and searching for answers. I am currently seeing a natural doctor, but I would love to hear specifically from a women’s holistic health doctor.
My functional medicine told me that to raise progesterone, work on cortisol and stress hormones in case it helps
I had completely regular periods no pain only issue was bad teenage acne got given the pill remained on it for 10 years went off it thr acne was worse than before by thus time I am 26 gaining weight, hair growth and irregular /inovulstory cycles couldn't get pregnant had a missvarraige which was quite traumatic and then had to pay 100s to get medication to help me ovulate which then lead yo a twin pregnancy from over ovulation which then damaged My heart and caused the early birth and health issues in My kids
I’m so sorry
Thank you soo soo much for speaking on this topic I'm ttc
Me too! Good luck 👍
Thanks for this video! Been trying for 5 years to have children. Currently going to a Dr. To to see if I can find anything wrong like endometriosis or something and then planning to go to a holistic Dr.
How do you go about finding a doctor like you that accepts insurance? This sounds great and all but for most people the only way you can afford going to the doctor is through insurance.
Most holistic treatments don't accept insurance and that should explain a lot about big pharma and our medical system.
Could you do an interview with Dr. Ann Nolte from the Gianna Center NYC
Wow, found out new info from this.
So glad!
Letrozole and progesterone ❤helped us conceive 🙏🏼
Could you recommend a doctor in my area that has this doctors philosophies? PA
Thank you for the info , I am trying to have a beautiful baby ! Help me a lot !
Whats your thoughts on Mercier therapy?
Not familiar with it. What is it?
First of all why not all doctors are required to have not just a holistic approach but also to be personal and caring as this doctor? As someone that had a long birth control detox for almost a year plus stress, something that helped (besides life style changes) is having sex everyday for a month and I truly recommend this (:
Anyone looking into natural fertility I urge you to look Into clear passage.
Sorry but I’ll have to disagree with the diet. I’ve never felt better on carnivore. My blood test results are amazing for all my female hormones which previously were horrible. I contribute that to increasing my fat and protein intake with all animal sources
Once you cut out fragrance you become very grossed out by it. You won't want the candle anymore.
Oh that's interesting. I've never heard of supplements being bridges. I've always thought you'd have to take supplements instead of prescriptions 😂.
I would think being a member of Opus Dei and breaking their vow of celibacy by having children would be a bigger risk of eternal hell than worrying about something as small as dying from the complications of birth control.
