- I built my very first Nvidia RTX 3080 PC Build! This was an exciting build for me because I have been wanting to build in the Lian Li Lancool 215 for some time now. The fact that its a 3080 build is icing on the cake. I did this video in a chill ASMR style. Hope you all love it as much as I do ☺ Cheers

Great vid bro! Watching this vid feels so damn good as someone who is obsessed about pc. Ive never built cos im mostly afraid ill fuck up but it doesnt look that complicated as it seems. I might build my own dream pc instead of buying it after watching this. Thank you!
Thank you so much 😊 The build process is pretty simple. The hardest part is the wiring, long as you take your time, look up tutorials and follow your motherboard manual, you’ll be good.

After 2 years and affordability, I will receive my evga 3080 FTW3 Ultra on 01/25/23. Yes, I know there are newer ones but as said affordability and bought right from EVGA directly was important.

Thanks for sharing this video. I have this board and it's a shame that after putting in a high-end graphics card, that the "PG" glowing LED's are totally covered up by the graphics card.
I have a similarish build with the same case and a 3070 ftw3 ultra, but I'm using a white case instead and am going to try to vertical mount the card to show it off more lol. has a nice front view profile. ive been looking for those lian li strimers too but they are sold out at my microcenter.

Nice Build.. You should see that board with the 5900X in it though, Paired with a 6800XT.. I rips through games.. I went with an all AMD Build.. I was on an RX480/2700X before this current RIg.. I went with the Phanteks White P500A on new build.. I do like Lian Li cases.. But I fell all in on this Phanteks.. Plenty of room inside.. The Black on white Theme looks great too.. I have a Huge Black XFX 6800XT its the biggest card I have ever owned.. Anyway So far so good with this Velocita..

@@BuildsWithV I'll take some Pics, it is a beast though, I have a 360 Rad so I see really good numbers on the CPU, and the 6800XT is a beast of a card.. The 5900X is overkill for me, But It was the same price as the 5800X at the time so the choice was easy.. I do see the chip hit 4.94 in Hardware Info, so cooling does matter with these chips..

PS: The exhaust fan at the back, what speed was/is it running? Seems slower than the others...
Thank you so much 🙏 The GPU will definitely be needing another support bracket, just have to order one that I like. The fan at the rear was running at the same speed, I think it was just how the camera captured it. Again thanks so much for the support! Glad you enjoyed this video 😊
Whats the 4 Pin PSU cable Right next to the Motherboard CPU power supply !? Cause i have the same motherboard with Ryzen 5 5600x only manage to connect the 8 PIN but always wondered what the extra 4 pin was for?
Cool build! Do you always get the four red LEDs flash on startup? I had heard some horror stories about leds and rmas so wondering if your card has been fine? Thanks!!!
I have the 3080 Tuf gaming edition but this one is my favorite, i love the lighting effect on it. The tuf gaming has a small led but its pretty lackluster compared to this one haha
I agree, this one looks pretty sick. I kinda want the aorus tho. Wish I could find someone to trade since I doubt I’ll find one for retail
@@BuildsWithV yeah i wish i could find someone to trade mine with as well, actually found one of these on fb marketplace for $1200 but if i sold mine for close to that it wouldnt be a huge loss lol, maybe ill just wait for the ftw3 when the 4080 comes out lol

if im not mistaken the front case fans should be 3 pin 5v argb but the aio you chose is 4 pin 12v... how did you get the colors to sync?

You’re the first to notice 😅 Later on I ended up using some black hot glue to cover it up. Still perfect to this day 😂
How is this case?? Overall feel, build quality and air flow?
At 10:51 you can see lights coming between front frame and chasis🙄
@@DEESHOOM overall It feels solid. The main reason I like it is for the airflow. The feel is good, i’d say compared to other cases the same price range this one feels a bit better quality wise. At 10:51 you can see the light because I didn’t have the glass on yet. But also the gap isn’t fully flush.
I bout that evga 3080 yesterday but im having buyer’s remorse because it might run hot in my case, I really want to trade it for something else.
Why do you think it will run hot? Does your case have good airflow?
I will admit that this gpu does get pretty warm. I was playing forza at 4K the other day and my pc (even with great airflow) felt like a heater 😅 but it’s normal. Just keep an eye on temps.
Hey I have the same gpu and case as you. I bought the noctua dh-15 chromax black. Is there enough clearance for it in that case.
According to gamers nexus this case has 166mm of clearance. The noctua with the fans installed is 165mm. It should fit by a hair but I can’t be too sure. Gonna be really close.
I can’t adjust the rgb on the two front fans of my lancool 215. They turn on and light up green but the top button on the case won’t change the color? I have an asus b550-f mobo if that helps.
id make sure the connector on the hub and lighting switch are both firmly connected. if its connected to the motherboard also i believe you have to hold the lighting button for 3 seconds to give control over to the motherboard
For the 8pin pcie, my rm750x came with 4 pcie’s cables all of which have 6+2 coming out of one cable TWICE. Do I need to use three separate cables or can I use one cable for two 8 pins and one cable for the last? (Sorry for the terrible explanation of my situation)
That was a good explanation. Unfortunately you need to use three separate 6+2 cables which means you’ll have the extra cable kinda hanging there.
Why putting m.2 nvme bend on first place?is it cannot making straight line (sorry bad english)
To install the NVMe SSD it does have to go in at an angle for it to fit properly. Thank for watching 🙏
can you replace the 200mm front fan to 120mm fan?

Would there be enough room to use a elgato 4k60 mk2 in that slot below the graphics card?
I’m not 100% sure but I did fit a wifi card under there.
@@BuildsWithV thank you for the Info, that’s the card I want but I need to make sure I have enough clearance for my capture card since it needs to uses the bigger pcie slot from what I can tell from your video and others I might just barley have space for it
@@CeejayTXDS yeah it might not have space. Also it might not be the greatest idea since it will block some airflow to the gpu fans
What’s your gpu temp while playing?
Haven't had much time to play and test unfortunately. When I did play Forza at 4k res this PC was blowing hot air from the top like crazy 😅

It does block some stuff for sure. It’s a pretty thick card. I’m not sure exactly what it covers, I can check later.

It’s really good. I use it for many builds and have never encountered an issues. For the price you can go wrong with it.

Thanks,I want to buy an AIO for my matx case(nr400 w/o ODD) and I got to choose between Id Cooling Auraflow X 240 or this ml240l v2
The id cooling one seems to have low qualitiy as I've heard. So cooler master it is.
@@papilcost yeah it’s a great choice. Just make sure you do get the ML240L V2 because the V1 isn’t as high quality.
One more thing,I will mount it on top as exhaust,does the radiator placement matter(like tubes facing the rear fan of the case,or facing the front of the case(like the RAM portion)

how you remove / paint the red thing in the front of the gpu ?
Mine fortunately didn’t come with the red. They make them with or without the red and I just happened to get lucky.

Does anyone know if the Evga 3080 FTW3 Ultra will work with the Evga 750w BQ PSU?
Unfortunately it will not. That only has 2x8 pin and you need 3x8 pin for this GPU.

@@LrbsportProduct no problem at all. Just check it out again and you’re right. Does say 3x8pin for gpu. Guess I got confused since one of the 8 pin ports says CPU2. Makes sense now tho, I guess you can use it as either one. Just make sure your motherboard doesn’t require more than one 8-pin for your CPU.

I have the MSI Mag b550 Tomahawk AM4 Mboard and the Ryzen 5900x CPU. Think it’ll work?
@@LrbsportProduct yeah I checked just now and that motherboard only has one 8-pin for CPU so that will leave 3x8 for your gpu.
Keep in mind that you will probably need a bios update to support the 5000 series CPU.
