Thank you! Now I know what to do with the Northcott Gradiation Ombré strips I have. So fun!

I love that you flip the grunge over. I don't like that gungie look but I love the colors and have a couple of grunge charm pack. As the old saying goes "you bought both sides" now i'm going to be flipping over the grunge. I love Fairy Frost. I have yards and yard of the Snow and the Ivory. Those are my 2 favorites. Love the video!!

Hi, Rob, I love your tutorials. They are very informative, full of useful ideas and tips and above all, your enthusiasm and obvious joy in what you are doing is really infectious. I call you Rob, my crazy, fun tutor. Watching the video was the easy bit and now comes the much harder part, the actual doing. You have enthused me too.Thank you, Maria

Rob, you are the MAN !!!
I absolutely love Improv work. Traditional quilting is sweet and some patterns are going to be made be me , BUT being a seventy’s girl I love abstract work. This gave me more ideas to run with.
I watch all your videos. And I will keep doing so. Your work keeps me in awe.

Thanks, I needed this kind of encouragement to be free and play more with quilt piecing. I tend to get stressed and question why I had the urge to sew when I get caught up with doing the math on a quilt to make it an exact size or have precisely the right amount of materials and make all points line up. I'd rather find enjoyment more in the journey than the destination.

How about taking 10" paper for paper piecing, use a crooked square for center, and then build your scraps or weird cuts around that center square. Keep building until you fill up the 10" paper. Any hang over, square up. Make 25 or 30 blocks. Sew together, wala!
