Nice lid cj very clean ✂ i would check youre light levels make sure nothing change with that plexy on it wrong plexy would bounce youre light off difrent ways i noticed that on my 120 when i put lids on but then there was more plexy covering tank than youres found out wrong plexy glass they used to make them lids so just took them off

Oh, this is almost exactly what I've been looking for. I make homemade screen tops for my planted freshwater tanks, but I've never been quite satisfied. These lids look great, especially with the custom cutouts. Thanks for the lead!

I love my clearview lid - I clean it with the hand-held shower spray head. Mine is 2 years old now, and still looks pretty much brand new when it’s clean. I had them put in 2 feed doors and can’t imagine working without them. And I only ever remove it for cleaning or, like you said, for when I need to reach into the tank. Nice choice, you won’t regret it!
Keep the lid for the first couple of weeks after you put the fish! Once they're acclimated and there are no fight, I'm pretty sure they won't jump at all! I have 2 wrasses. It's been almost two years and they're doing just fine without lids. Actually, they don't even like to stay close to the surface!

I made mine out of acrylic J bar with 1/4 acrylic spline. For a total of 20 $ it's not beautiful since it was my first one but serves its purpose my next one will no doubt look better if I decide to try again.

Im setting up a 65g tank down here in aus. Just happens it was around the same time you set up yours.
Set up with natural sea water and sand of the local beach.
It will be interesting to see how the two tanks come up against each other in a few months with such different aprroches to setting up the cycle .

Hi CJ, great tank. Is the setting on your lights where you normally have them or is it different for video shoots? Also what spectrums are you using, are you ok with red and green. There seems to be a lot of talk about them causing excess algae. P.S. Liked, subbed and looking forward to working my way through your vids.

@@CJSAQUARIUMS I have the older model lid on my tank for over two years now with no problems. If the tabs pass the the edge of the tank a little just sand them down a little. Very easy to do man.
Wasn’t the tabs it was the lid itself they wanted to make sure it was right. Stand up company 💯💯💯
