I have been trying to look up and figure out how to make pinch pleat drapes your demonstration is the simplest easiest into the Point The best I’ve seen so far
Simple, to the point, and perfectly clear: Thank you!
This video has been so helpful! I’ve watched repeatedly.
Great tutorial can’t wait to try. Thank you!
Hello and thank you for your instruction, very helpful!
So simple, thank You 😘 so much Ma'am 🌹
You missed a major step of how to add the buckram and where to sew on the back to form the first fold. I haven't found any videos that show this. The steps after that are well done. This could have been one of the best videos.
nice video, thanks for sharing
Gracias, no fue necesario hablar tu idioma, con tus geTos8 entendí perfectamente. Gracias por compartir este conocimiento de la alta costura en cortinas...sin dudas se ven finas, bien logradas. Felicidades desde Sudamérica, chile.

Hi i dony know if you still can read this, but do you know how to hang this type of curtain? Thanks!
Hello there. You sound like curtain experts and I have a question I hope someone would be familiar with. (probably not.. grrr) OK.... I am going round and round with my curtain dilemmas. One of them is...I LOVE these curtain panels I bought but they have grommets on top. Since it's for a sliding glass door, I just realized they would get a lot of wear and tear by manually having to open and close them and it'd be a big pain and inconvenience anyways, so I'm trying to figure out a way to use the existing traverse rod. And I don't know how to work my Mom's sewing machine, either. And I certainly don't have the $$ to hire a professional, either! lol But that would be really nice, and actually the best idea for me a this point ! lol
I think it would look kinda cool to see the grommet holes along the top, but I am afraid it might make them too short to hit the floor. But the biggest problem is figuring out a way to get the pleats needed to sick those curtain pins in. Any ideas??? Oh PLEASE someone has just HAD to have this thrown at them before me. Or then again...maybe not. :D.
I am usually a DIYer with lots of creativity, just not this particular time. Also, (now that I think about it) those panels are only 37 inches wide and I have 4 of them. Yea...probably not enough.... But I will have to tack the tops together so they.....oh maybe not since it's on the traverse rod!! YAY .
I think that's everything, so I hope someone has some ideas to help me. I am just so confused here. Thanks so much in advance. In fact, I should C&P this and post it to every curtain themed video on YT!!! lol Thanks again. I really really need some ideas here. o_O
if you done have a problem with height being shorter then here is what need to do , i am an expert and have a drapery work room in destin Fl .
at first you would nee to cut the older pleat include the grommets .
order a pinch pleat online if you dont form where i can help you out with it .
after you cut the fabric form the top ,you would need to fold the fabric 1 inch or so nicely and straight . attach the new bukram/pleat to the top by either stitching or using a feasible with iron on . it should not be hard at all , and i recommend the second option since you not pro .
after that ,you need to measure the width so we can divide it by how a certain amount of pinch"s . i would suggest take the measurement of the window before you do any thing to see of the fabric enough or not ?!
example : you have 4 pcs of panels with 37 in each those would be enough for window its size from 125 in up to 160 in .
if you find out these info then i can give the last measurement of each pinch .and then would be all set .

Curtain designs by Hani Well, now THAT is something I did not think of!! (And THIS is why we need professionals!!! lol ;) )
What a great idea!!! And I will certainly remember it for the next time something like this happens!!! I had given up hope and decided to use the grommet panels for the living room window instead. But thank you so much for your reply and great idea. I appreciate it very much!!! Take care~ ♥
